1. DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL
Open Your Preferred Browser: Enter ksrec.in/android/neerarivu.apk in the address bar for downloading
the APK file.
Install the Application: Once the APK file is downloaded, open it and follow the on-screen
instructions to install the application.
Grant Permissions: When prompted, grant all required app permissions by clicking ‘ALLOW’.
2. USER REGISTRATION
New Users: If you are not yet a member, click the ‘NOT A MEMBER YET? SIGN UP’ button on the
login page. This will direct you to the registration page.
Complete the Registration Form: Fill in all the required fields on the registration page. Please note
that all fields are mandatory.
Select User Status: Choose your user status from the ‘Select Status’ dropdown menu. The available
options are:
o Surveyor
o Supervisor
o District Nodal Officer
o State Admin
Select Local Body Details: Specify your local body details by selecting the appropriate options for
District, Local Body Type, and Local Body Name.
Submit Registration: After entering all the required information, click the ‘REGISTER’ button to
complete the registration process. Upon successful registration, you will be redirected to the login
page.
1. Surveyor: After logging in, you will be directed to the Surveyor dashboard, which includes
tools for conducting surveys and managing survey data.
2. Supervisor: Upon login, you'll access the Supervisor dashboard, where you can oversee
survey progress, review submissions, and manage surveyors.
3. District Nodal Officer: Logging in as a District Nodal Officer takes you to a specialized
dashboard designed for managing district-level operations, including data aggregation
and reporting.
4. State Admin: As a State Admin, you will have access to a comprehensive dashboard that
offers state-wide management features, including user management, data oversight, and
system configuration.
Once you’ve entered your credentials click the ‘SIGN IN’ button to proceed to the appropriate
dashboard.
5. USER ROLE: SURVEYOR
Home Screen Layout
The home screen for Surveyors displays menus related to surveys, as well as options for managing approved and
rejected data, among other features. The available options are as follows:

Uploaded Data
Rejected Data
Approved Data
Upload Image
User Profile Updation

Switch Language
Survey
Opens the survey activity where the surveyor can start a new survey.
The page will show the location and the level of accuracy of your GPS location.
If you want to cancel survey, you can do it here by taking the option at top right corner.
Choose Location entry dropdown menu for location fetching
Auto: Uses the device’s GPS to fetch the current location automatically. The
surveyor should confirm the auto-detected location is correct and click
CONTINUE button.
Manual: Provide fields to input the location details manually if auto location
fetching is incorrect. Select district, local body type, local body name from
the drop downwhere the survey is about to conduct and click CONTINUE
button.
The GPS values are displayed and will be refreshed every ten seconds for accuracy. You
can wait at the location to get the best accuracy available with your mobile.
Survey pages:
Fill all fields with appropriate information. Some of the fields are mandatory.
Ensure all required fields are clearly marked.
Enable camera option by clicking ‘CAPTURE IMAGE ‘BUTTON for capturing photo of the water body.
To proceed, click UPLOAD BUTTON, will show a popup that Survey saved successfully.
OFFLINE STATUS
Offline Status: Displays the surveys saved offline. The user can conduct surveys even without
internet. Those data are stored as offline and automatically uploaded into the server when internet
is available.
To list offline data, click Offline Status menu in the home menu.
The clock symbol indicates that the data is still in offline mode and tick symbol indicates that
the data has successfully uploaded and saved in server.
‘CLEAR THE TABLE’, option clears all the previous information of offline data and shows a
caution message before clearing data as shown in the figure below. Only use this option
when all the data in offline are successfully uploaded to the server.
UPLOADED DATA
Use ‘UPLOADED DATA’ menu to view the data uploaded by the user. The user can view the
uploaded data as follows,
Can view all the uploaded data together.
Can view individual survey details by changing ‘All Data’ from the Dropdown option to other
survey types, i.e., Open well, Pond, Bore well, Filtered point well, Springs, Tube well.
Corresponding map view of the uploaded data can be seen by clicking MAPVIEW icon.
1. Rejection Notification: You will see a rejected notification via a popup alert when logging in.
2. Click the "Rejected Data" menu from the main menu page to view a list of all rejected survey data.
3. To view individual survey details, click the "View Details" button. This will take you to the survey pages
where remarks from the rejecting officer are displayed.
4. The Surveyor can correct the survey according to the remarks and then re-upload it for approval.
Click the "Approved Data" menu from the main menu page to view a list of all Approved data
together.
To view individual survey details, click the "View Details" button. This will take you to the survey pages
where corresponding survey details are displayed.
UPLOAD IMAGE
1. This option can be used to upload images for the case of surveys where images are not uploadedbefore
or failed to upload image.
2. For the image to upload, the survey category should be opted from the drop down menu. Then type id
with no image should be selected from the drop down list. Further the respective image of the type can
be selected from the phone gallery and click ‘UPLOAD IMAGE’.
3. ‘RESET’ button can be used to set again the type and the image.
The home screen for Supervisors displays menus related to surveyor, surveys, along with options
for managing approved and rejected data, among other features. The available options are as
follows:

Supervisors can also approve or reject survey data by verifying the details.
If data is rejected, a remarks column is provided for adding corrections.
Add Surveyor
Additionally, there is an Add Surveyor option, allowing a Supervisor to add multiple surveyors under
their supervision.
To Add a surveyor under a Supervisor , click the "Add Surveyor" button on Supervisor's home page,
For this Enter the Surveyor's user ID, then click the "Search" button. This will display the surveyor's
details.
Verify the displayed details and click the "Add" button to add the surveyor.
A popup will appear confirming that the “surveyor has been successfully added”.
View Survey Details
To view survey data, click the "Survey Details" button on the Supervisor's home page. This will direct you to
a page where you can see a dropdown menu labeled "Select Surveyor."
Select Surveyor: Choose the required surveyor from the dropdown menu.
Select the desired surveyor from the dropdown menu List of Surveyors.
From the "Select Status" dropdown menu, choose the "To Approve" option just below
the list of surveyors. This will display the count of all data surveyed by that surveyor.
Click the "View Details" button to get an overview of each survey. Verify the survey data
thoroughly.
Approve the Survey: After verification, click the "Approve" button on the final page to
approve the survey.
Confirmation: A success message will be displayed upon approval.
A bell icon will provide an alert for the Supervisor when a survey is rejected by the Nodal Officer.
Upon clicking the bell icon, it will display an alert message notifying the Supervisor that a survey has
been rejected by the Nodal Officer and requires re-approval.
To Reject Survey by Supervisor
Select the desired surveyor from the dropdown menu List of Surveyors.
From the "Select Status" dropdown menu, choose the "To Approve" option just below the list of
surveyors. This will display the count of all data surveyed by that surveyor.
Click the "View Details" button to get an overview of each survey. Verify the survey data thoroughly.
If there are any corrections or mistakes, reject the survey by clicking the "Save Remarks and Reject"
button on the final page. Add remarks in the corresponding fields by checking the checkbox next to each
field that requires correction.
Confirmation: Upon rejection, a success message will be displayed.
To View Filtered Data
You can further filter the data by selecting either “All”, “Approved" or "Rejected" fields.
To view all data uploaded by a surveyor, use the dropdown menu to select the status of the
data:
The home screen for District Nodal Officers displays menus related to surveys, along with options for
managing approved and rejected data, among other features. The available options are as follows:

District Nodal Officer, you can verify and approve data approved by Supervisors.
You also have the ability to edit data, add remarks in the provided column while reviewing surveys,
and reject data if necessary.
View Survey Details
To view survey data, click the "Survey Details" button on the District Nodal Officer’s home page. This
will direct you to a page where you can see list of surveys approved by the Supervisor along with its
count.
Verify the survey data by clicking the "View Details" button. This will provide an overview of
each survey.
After thoroughly verifying the details, approve the survey by clicking the "Approve" button on
the final page.
Confirmation: Upon approval, a success message will be displayed.
To Reject Survey by Nodal Officer
Verify the survey data by clicking the "View Details" button. This will provide an overview of each
survey.
If there is any corrections or mistakes, reject the survey by clicking the "Save Remarks and Reject"
button on the final page. Add remarks in the corresponding fields by checking the checkbox next to
each field that requires correction.

8. USER ROLE: STATE ADMIN
Home Screen – Layout:
The home screen for the State Admin displays menus related to surveys, along with options for
managing approved and rejected data, among other features. The available options are as follows:

a State Admin, you can view state-level approved and verified data and sanction each survey for
payment on a district-wise basis across all districts.
Sanction List
To view survey data, click the "Survey Details" button on the State Admin’s home page. This will
direct you to a page with a dropdown menu labelled "Select District."
The State Admin can view survey data for each district, with the option to apply filters or view
the data without filtering.
District wise Filtered Details
Select a District: Choose a district from the "Select District" dropdown menu.
Choose Data Status: Select one of the following options:
o All: Displays all the data corresponding to the selected district.
o Sanction: Displays data that needs to be sanctioned.
o Sanctioned: Displays data that has already been sanctioned.
To Sanction a Survey:
o Check total count of surveys
o Review the details in the provided box by clicking View Survey Details Button.
o Verify the information, then click the "To Sanction" button.
o A confirmation message will appear; click "Yes" to confirm.
o A popup will notify you that the survey has been successfully sanctioned.
To Sanction a group of Surveys:
o Review the details in the provided box.
o Verify the information, then click the "Select All" button at the top.
o You can either select all surveys or choose the required ones individually.
o A popup will notify you that the selected Details have been Successfully Sanctioned.
9. USER PROFILE UPDATION
To update the user details click ‘USER PROFILE UPDATION’ menu.
Enter Password in the field and click ‘VERIFY’ for verifying the user.
Update the details in the appropriate fields and click ‘UPDATE’ button
Once logged out, fresh login with user name and password is needed.
