HTML SA HOLIDAY assignment background

For this assignment, you are required to
showcase your favourite South-African holiday
by using the various HTML skills you have
acquired thus far. Ensure that you place your
names and student numbers in the <title> tag
of your document.

For the demonstration, we will be making use of

Google Chrome. So ensure that you make your
web page adaptable to Google Chrome.

Include the following elements in your web page

It is important that you focus on incorporating the following elements into your
webpage to ensure a fully functioning and aesthetically pleasing web page:
• Tables
• Links to other relevant sites
• Link to sections within the page (e.g. top, bottom, etc.)
• Image of the holiday (e.g. celebration of a favourite holiday)
• Colour (e.g. think of South Africa’s colours)
• Lists (both ordered and unordered)
• Headings (e.g. different sizes)
• Paragraphs/breaks and horizontal rules
• Special characters
• Background
• Bonus: Forms with multiple input types (i.e. Drop down, radio, password, etc)

Remember that complexity does play a role, so if you combine some of these elements, e.g.
lists or images inside a table, it will count in your favour!

A good-looking page is also vital, so make sure you lay it out well.

Lastly, remember to make it fun and interesting!!!
