Product Managers act as the voice of the customer, working with customers and
stakeholders to identify and prioritize requirements. They set the product vision,
strategy for development and are responsible for bringing the product to market, as
well as ensuring its continued success in life through feature additions and
maintenance. On the other hand, Product Owners have a more inward view of product
development, focusing on the team and deliverables by translating requirements into
user stories and features. As a PO, you’ll bridge the technical and business
worlds; define and manage the backlog and collaborate with the Development team to
practice scrum events.
To summarize, PMs decide on where to go, and POs decide on how to get there.

Project management is the process of leading the work of a team to achieve all
project goals within the given constraints.

Hello, I'm Muhammad Mohsin from Hangu, Pakistan. I completed my BS in Computer

Science from UET Peshawar in 2022. After graduating, I started as a Quality
Assurance intern at Antonx, which eventually turned into a permanent role as a
Junior Quality Assurance Engineer at Antonx after my 4 months of internship.

During this 4 months internship and then 6 months job as junior qa engineer, i
worked in many project and made a good impact. Apart from QA I developed a keen
interest in project management, which is closely related to QA work. I even took
some Agile/Scrum and PM courses during my internship and job. My responsibilities
as a QA Engineer at Antonx included agile testing, client meetings, Sprint demos,
requirement gethering, backlog grooming and Scrum activities.

I decided to switch into a project management role and requested a job title
change from QA to Junior Scrum Master within my company. They conducted interviews
and tests, and I successfully cleared them. I then worked as a Junior Scrum Master
for 8 months, and due to my excellent performance, I was promoted to Assoc. Scrum
Master.

Additionally, I earned certification as a Google Project Manager after completing

their professional certification program and achieved some other certifications in
Quality assuarnce and Quality control.

Any sudden change or best turn in life ?

One of the most significant and exciting turning points in my career was when,
during my time as a QA, I temporarily took on some Scrum activities due to the
absence of a Scrum Master for a few sprints. This unexpected opportunity allowed me
to step into the role of a Scrum Master, and I found immense satisfaction in the
challenges and responsibilities it brought to my career. It was a pivotal and
rewarding moment that has since shaped my professional journey.

Here's a set of QA (Quality Assurance) interview questions along with sample

answers:

1. **What is the difference between verification and validation in software

testing?**
- *Answer:* Verification ensures the product is designed correctly, while
validation ensures the correct design is implemented effectively. Verification is
about the process, while validation is about the product.

2. **Explain the significance of test cases in software testing.**

- *Answer:* Test cases serve as detailed documentation for testing scenarios,
guiding testers to verify that the software functions as intended. They aid in
systematic and thorough testing.

3. **What is regression testing? Why is it important?**

- *Answer:* Regression testing ensures that changes in the codebase do not
adversely affect existing functionalities. It's crucial to catch unintended side
effects of code modifications and maintain overall system stability.

4. **How do you prioritize test cases for execution?**

- *Answer:* Prioritization depends on factors like criticality, frequency of use,
and business impact. Critical functionalities and areas with frequent changes
usually take precedence.

5. **Can you explain the difference between white-box and black-box testing?**
- *Answer:* White-box testing involves testing with knowledge of the internal code
structure, while black-box testing focuses on evaluating the software's
functionality without knowledge of its internal implementation.

6. **What is the purpose of performance testing?**

- *Answer:* Performance testing assesses the responsiveness, scalability, and
stability of a software application under different conditions, ensuring it meets
performance expectations.

7. **How do you handle a situation where a developer disagrees with a bug you
reported?**
- *Answer:* I would initiate a constructive discussion with the developer,
providing clear evidence of the issue through steps to reproduce, screenshots, or
logs. Collaboration is essential to understand and resolve differences.
8. **Explain the concept of a test plan.**
- *Answer:* A test plan is a document outlining the testing approach, scope,
resources, schedule, and deliverables. It serves as a roadmap for the testing
process, ensuring a systematic and organized approach.

9. **What is the difference between validation and verification?**

- *Answer:* Verification confirms that the product is being developed correctly
according to specifications, while validation ensures that the right product is
being developed to meet the user's needs.

10. **How do you stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in QA?**
- *Answer:* I regularly participate in relevant forums, webinars, and conferences,
and I follow industry blogs and publications. Continuous learning is crucial in QA
to stay abreast of evolving technologies and best practices.
