Intro: In case u don’t know, body language or non-verbal communication is as

important as any part of a presentation. It’s the tool to deliver all the content of
your presentation. A speech with good content but poor delivery will fail to impact
the amount that speech deserves.

In this video, I will give you some tips to develop your body language using.

Here are some

The first and maybe the easiest to do is to remain eye contact. Seeing your
audience confidently in their eyes will create a connection between you and them.
Therefore, you become more trustful and authoritative and t nju2he audience will
more likely to concentrate on your presentation also. In the other hand, don’t look
away from your audience while you are on stage. And of course, don’t ever turn
your back on the audience and then read the slide. This is even worse.

Next tip will be how to use the hands properly. It can be quite tricky at first I have
to admit. Here are some examples of what you should do and shouldn’t do. I won’t
say what they are and will let you determine what is good and what isn’t . “Hello
everyone, welcome to my presentation today ” + Hand gesture. Okay that’s the 1 st
one. How about now? “Hello everyone, welcome to my presentation today ” +
Hand gesture. Big different. Right. I do not mean to wiggle your hand all around
but also don’t just keep your hand still in your pocket. How awkard that is. Just
practice and you will soon find what is suitable for yourself.
Okay. Lets move to the next tip. That would be good posture and facial expression.
How do I look right now? Awful right. No one would want to hear a presentation
from a person like this. Posture is a basic one but something that many of us tend
to forget. A simple upright back , open shoulders, and up chin can make us look so
much better and confident on stage. And of course, a smiley face is what the
audience wants to see. Many speakers have this poker face when they get on stage.
Some people may find it hard and awkward at first smiling when talking. A small
advice I can give is that try to Incorporate deliberate smiling into your speech
rehearsals and soon enough, you will be able to smile much more naturally when
speaking on stage

That’s a complete no-no

Okay. So to sum up, remember to remain eye contact, use your hand and improve
your posture and expressions. I used to be a shy person with terrible presentation
skills but hardwork pay off. I believe that if I can do then you all can, too. That’s
all for today videos. See you in the next one. Good bye!
