Finding information about the cloud-based storage and writing them down.
➢ Group Information:
After attending the feature of two weeks, we were able to select the
topic for micro project. We discussed the topic with our guide,
regarding the concept which we are going to apply in the project. We
individually tried to explain the basic platform of project.
➢ Planning:
From finalizing the project, we, the group members, started working on
the project. We started the planning phase. We discussed among
ourselves regarding the resource such as hardware and software
requirement. In third week of March, we completed the Part A plan of
the microproject.
➢ Module Distribution And Analysis Part:
➢ Design Part:
In this part, we tested the each module and get the actual result for our
micro project. By doing this we were clearer of the project.
➢ Submission:
First week of April was the submission week, we have to submit the
project to the guide. We have to complete both the Part A and Part B
plan of project. We also have to submit the soft copy of project to the
guide.

Output Of
The Micro-
Project
Introduction to Cloud Storage:-
Cloud storage refers to the practice of storing and accessing data over the internet
through remote servers. It allows users to store their data on the internet rather
than on physical storage devices like hard drives, flash drives, or DVDs. This data
can be accessed from anywhere with an internet connection and can be shared
easily with others.
Cloud storage has become increasingly popular in recent years due to its
convenience, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness. With cloud storage, users can access
their data from any device, at any time, without the need for physical storage
devices.
Cloud storage can be used for a variety of purposes, from personal file storage to
business data backup and disaster recovery. Many cloud storage providers offer a
range of plans with varying storage capacities, features, and pricing options to cater
to different needs.
Advantages of Cloud Storage
Cloud storage offers several advantages over traditional on-premises storage
solutions. Here are some of the key benefits of using cloud storage:
1. Accessibility: With cloud storage, users can access their data from anywhere
with an internet connection, making it ideal for both personal use and remote
work. This means you can easily access your files, photos, and other data
while on the go.
4. Data recovery: Cloud storage can serve as a backup and disaster recovery
solution, ensuring that critical data is protected and can be restored in the
event of a cyberattack, virus or device failure.
5. Backup and Sync: With cloud storage, you can easily back up and sync your
data across multiple devices, ensuring that you always have access to the
latest version of your files. This can be particularly useful if you use multiple
devices or if you want to share data with family and friends or if you work in a
remote environment.
Disadvantages of Cloud Storage
While there are many advantages to using cloud storage, there are also potential
disadvantages to consider. Here are some of the disadvantages of cloud storage:
2. Security Risks: While cloud storage providers typically offer advanced security
measures, there is always a risk of data breaches or unauthorized access. This
is particularly concerning for businesses that store sensitive or confidential
data in the cloud.
4. Limited Control: When using cloud storage, you are reliant on the cloud
provider to manage your data. This means that you have limited control over
how your data is stored, backed up, and managed.
5. Costs: While cloud storage can be cost-effective, it can also become expensive
if you require large amounts of storage or additional features. Additionally,
some cloud providers may charge for data transfer, which can add up quickly
Cloud Storage Provider
A cloud storage provider, sometimes referred to as a managed service provider, is a
company that offers organizations and individuals the ability to place and retain
data in an off-site storage system. Customers can lease cloud storage capacity per
month or on demand. Some of the cloud storage providers are:
4. MEGA: MEGA is a cloud storage and file hosting service offered by MEGA
Limited, a company based in Auckland, New Zealand. The service is offered
through web-based apps. MEGA mobile apps are also available for Android
and iOS. MEGA offers 25GB of free storage and 400GB to 16TB of storage with
monthly subscription.
Conclusion –
This microproject has demonstrated the many benefits of using cloud storage
for data management. this microproject has demonstrated that cloud storage
is a powerful and cost-effective solution that can significantly improve data
management and we believe that it will continue to play an increasingly
important role in the future of data storage and management.
