2. To realise that scientific knowledge is one way to understand our environment.
Tower 3. Be polite and respect each other.
Aim: To design and build a toothpick tower that could withstand the effects of an earthquake (shake paper plate simulation)
Participant: 7-8 person for each group
Materials: toothpick, plasticine, paper plate
Instructions:
1. Discuss in a group to design the height and strong tower by using a given materials. 2. Students only can use the plasticine to connect the toothpick. 3. Build a tower that could withstand the effects of the force.
