Introduction

It is well known that effective relevant training plays an essential role in


overall career development. In every institution, obtaining the right
knowledge and building the right attitude is of immense importance.

Ladies and gentlemen, we are gathered here today for this Training on
Faculty Research Proposal, Complete Study Preparation and Video Making for
Online Presentation.

To officially start this affair, let us all rise for an invocation and singing of our
national anthem which will be played on air.

To our determined and dynamic University Vice President for Research,


Development and Extension – Dr. Efren L. Linan, to our hard-working
University Research Director – Dr. Leo Andrew B. Biclar, to our supportive
RDE Training Services Director – Dr. Ronilo G. Berondo, to our goal-oriented
satellite college director – Dr. Marie Jean P. Penson, to our active Research
Chair of this campus – Dr. Maryneth B. Barrios, to our supportive Program
Chairs – Dr. Leah A. Ingalla of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Ma.
Jullie S. Lademora of the Teacher Education Department, Dr. Mario L. Lago of
the Agriculture Department and Mr. Romar J. Tawas of the Criminology
Department, to our participants for this training, ladies and gentlemen – a
pleasant Thursday morning to one and all and welcome to this Training on
Faculty Research Proposal, Complete Study Preparation and Video Making for
Online Presentation.

To kick off this activity, may I call on the goal-oriented satellite college
director, our very own – Dr. Marie Jean P. Penson for her welcome speech,
ma’am?

Well, thank you ma’am for instilling that conducting researches is vital
especially in the academe. Thank you also for the warm words of welcome.
