A. Course Design

Course Title: RICE MACHINERY OPERATION NC II


Nominal Duration: 250 HOURS
Course Description:
This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitudes of a
trainee/student on core competencies such as: Operate rice land preparation
machinery and equipment; Operate rice crop establishment machinery and
equipment; Operate rice crop care machinery and equipment; Operate rice
harvesting and threshing machinery and equipment; Operate rice drying machinery
and equipment ; and Operate rice mill machinery and equipment.

It also includes common competencies such as: Apply safety measures in


farm operations; Use farm tools and equipment ; and Perform estimation and
calculations.

Trainee Entry Requirements:

Trainees or students should possess the following requirements:

 able to read and write;


 with good moral character;
 ability to communicate, both oral and written; and
 physically and mentally fit healthy as certified by a Public Health Officer

This list does not include specific institutional requirements such as educational
attainment, appropriate work experience, and others that may be required of the
trainees by the school or training center delivering the TVET program.

The Lenkoy Farm is an establish institution and a TESDA accredited offers RICE MACHINERY
OPERATION NCII that caters scholars and walk in applicant. If the learners are under the scholarship
program they are not required to pay the training cost as it was the TESDA’s obligation to pay. But if
it’s a walk in applicant, the learners are required to pay the required training fee that the institution
formulated. It will be collected during and before the training period will end.

The lenkoy farm is an establish institution that offers a RICE MACHINERY OPERATIONS NCII, aims to
produce graduates that are competent on every qualification they take. This are the mechanics:
98-100% - excellent 83-85% - satisfactory
95-97 % -outstanding 80-82% - moderately satisfactory
92-94 % - very good 77-79% - quite good work
89-91 % -very satisfactory 75-76% -passing grade
86-88% -good work
1. The grading system is cumulative
2. The total number of points that can be achieved is 100 percent.
3. The final rating is based on the INSTITUTIONAL ASSSESS,MENT METHOD given by the school.
4. The passing is 75% which will mark COMPETENT. Any grade below 74%below is ab failure or will mark as NOT

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

New students:

New Students could be Junior High School , Senior High School graduates and the farmers who has
RSBSA (REGISTRY SYSTEM FOR BASIC SECTOR IN AGRICULTURE) certificates and have a
prior learning knowledge passers. The basic requirements are:

 Applicants must be JHS and SHs and the farmer of RSBSA member duly recognized from the DepEd
and Department of Agriculture Offices as evidenced by the submission of any equivalents documents.

 Applicants must meet the criteria set by the LENKOY FARM TECHNICAL SCHOOL AND ASSESSMENT
CENTER, INC.

 Applicants must submit at least two certificates of good moral from the previous school attended.

Trainees must possess the following before entering the school for enrollment:

 RSBSA number
 Photocopy of birth certificate( for male)
 Photocopy of birth certificate ( for female)

RULE OF ATTENDANCE

Trainees must observe:


1. Only 25 students must be allowed for the one batches of training for the program to go on.
2. Must be on the classroom before the classes begin
3. They will mark absent is H/e She late for 3 hours late, or no appearance at all.
4. Must be mark late if 15 minutes if classes begin.
5. Three consecutive late will be marked 1 absent.
6. Three consecutive absent will be marked tardy.
7. Five consecutives absent will be undergone correspond punishment and present valid
report /certification to be valid consideration.
8. Complete attendance gets rewards /certificate on the graduation day.

The LENKOY FARM TECHNICAL SCHOOL AND ASSESSMENT CENTER, INC ,

It will serve as support services to the health needs of the trainees. The services
shall have the following basic functions:

school days.

The career guidance/JLNS officer shall support structure of the absorb program. The
guidance includes:

1. Guidance and counseling: students are assisted in solving their learning program,
after graduation, students are assisted in job placement.
2. Testing test of varied types is given to help assess individual needs towards growth
and development.
