EIGRP Commands

Configuration Commands:
Command Configuration Mode
Router (config) # router eigrp AS number Global command
Router ( config-router)# network network number [wildcard mask] Router subcommand
Router ( config-router)# Network network number Router subcommand
Router ( config-router)# maximum paths number paths Router subcommand
Router (config-router) # variance multiplier Router subcommand
Router ( config-router)# traffic-share [balanced | min] Router subcommand

Show Commands (privileged EXEC mode):


Command Description
Router #show ip route [ip-address [mask] [longer prefixes] [protocol [process-id] Shows the entire routing table
or a subset if parameters are
entered
Router #show ip protocols Shows routing protocol
parameters
Router #show ip eigrp interfaces [type number] [AS number] [details] Shows EIGRP information for
each interface. Optional
keywords limit the output to a
specific interface or
autonomous system. The
details keyword expands the
output.
Router #show ip eigrp neighbors Lists EIGRP neighbours and
status
Router #show ip eigrp topology Lists the contents of the
EIGRP topology table
including successors and
feasible successors
Router #show ip route eigrp Lists only EIGRP learned
routes from the routing table
Router #show ip eigrp traffic [AS number] Lists traffic statistics about
EIGRP (command output can
be filtered by including an
optional Autonomous System
number.
Router #show ip eigrp topology all-links Displays
all routes not just feasible
successors in the EIGRP
topology
Router #show ip eigrp topology [active | pending | zero-successors] Depending on which keyword
is used displays all routes in
the topology table that are
either active, pending or
without successors
