Why Data is ❑ Data Explosion: Over 90% of the world's data has been
generated in the last two years.

the New ❑ Industries Leveraging Data:

❑ Healthcare: Medical diagnostics, patient care optimization.

Oil? ❑ Finance: Risk assessment, fraud detection, personalized

banking.
❑ Retail: Customer behavior analysis, personalized
recommendations.
❑ Manufacturing: IoT-powered predictive maintenance, supply
chain optimization.

❑ Why Data is Critical?

❑ Data powers insights, decision-making, and innovation across
all sectors.
❑ AI/ML models rely on data to learn, adapt, and evolve.
❑ Future Skills:
❑ Engineers must be proficient in handling and analyzing data.
❑ Data literacy is essential for AI/ML integration into products
and services.

5
From Data
❑ Data science is a broad interdisciplinary field that uses automated,
scientific methods to analyze large amounts of data and extract
knowledge from that data. We can use these methods to:

to ❑ Train the predictive models that are central to machine learning

and artificial intelligence
❑ Analyze, visualize, and transform the data fed into those models
Intelligence ❑
❑ Analyze the health and performance of models in production
Artificial intelligence (AI) is an umbrella term that refers to
teaching computers to perform complex tasks. The use of AI ranges
from chatbots that field simple customer support questions to self-
driving cars that intelligently navigate real-world traffic.
❑ Machine Learning is a technique that takes in data and produces a
refined, specific type of output. Machine learning helps a computer
“learn” from examples without being explicitly programmed with
step-by-step instructions.

Two ❑ Model-centric approach

❑ The model-centric approach means developing experimental

research to improve the ml model performance. This involves
selecting the best model architecture and training process from a
wide range of possibilities.

to Building
❑ In this approach you keep the data the same and improve the
code or model architecture.
❑ The central objective of this approach is Working on code !

AI Systems ❑ Data-centric approach

❑ In an age where data is at the core of every decision-making
process, a data-centric company can better align its strategy with
the interests of its stakeholders by using information generated
from its operations. This way the result can be more accurate,
organized, and transparent which can help an organization run
more smoothly.
❑ This approach involves systematically altering/improving
datasets in order to increase the accuracy of your ML
applications.
❑ The central objective of this approach is Working on data !

Machine Learning Operations
“As little as 5% of the actual code for machine learning production systems is the model itself. What turns a
collection of machine learning solutions into an end-to-end machine learning platform is an architecture
that embraces technologies designed to speed up modelling, automate the deployment, and ensure
scalability and reliability in production.”

GenAI :The
❑ Paradigm Shift: GenAI represents a significant shift in how
innovation is conceived and executed, automating complex tasks
and generating novel ideas..

Rise of ❑ Accelerated Development: GenAI accelerates development

Creativity in
cycles, enabling faster time-to-market for new products and
services.

AI ❑ Enhanced Creativity: By providing new ideas and perspectives,

GenAI enhances human creativity in various fields.

❑ Content Creation: GenAI can produce text/audio/video content,

including articles, animations and deepfakes, for entertainment
and advertising.

❑ Industry Applications:
❑ Creative Arts: Music composition, video production, fashion
design.
❑ E-commerce: Automated content for product descriptions,
reviews, and advertisements.
❑ Healthcare: Drug design through molecular generation,
personalized treatment plans.
❑ Software Development: Code generation, bug fixing, and
software testing.

11
AI ❑ Advantages of low-code/No-Code Platforms:
❑ Accessibility: Enables non-experts to build and deploy AI
models without extensive coding knowledge.
Democratiza ❑ Speed: Accelerates the development process, allowing for rapid
prototyping and iteration.

tion: No- ❑ Cost-Effectiveness: Reduces the need for specialized AI/ML

talent, lowering development costs.

Code/Low- ❑ Integration: Easily integrates with existing business processes

and systems.

Code ML
❑ User-Friendly Interfaces: Drag-and-drop features, pre-built
templates, and guided workflows.
❑ Scalability: Tools can scale with business needs, from small
Tools projects to enterprise-level applications.
❑ Collaboration: Facilitates collaboration between technical and
non-technical teams.

❑ Examples of Tools: AutoML , Azure ML , H2O.ai

❑ Future Trends:
❑ Increased Adoption: More businesses adopting no-
code/low-code tools.
❑ Enhanced Capabilities: Continuous improvements in tool
functionalities and performance.
❑ Broader Use Cases: Expansion into new industries and
applications.
