COURSE OUTCOMES:
COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course is designed to provide the student with a thorough technical understanding of the purpose for welding health and safety
practices that are essential for safe work condition in arc welding practices. Students are required to carry out workshop safety practices using
workshop layout plan, cleaning material, safety signage, fire extinguisher and first aid kit so that workshop layout complies to standard;
workshop housekeeping and safety rule carried out; and basic first aid treatment performed according to the Occupational Safety and He alth
(OSH) Act.
