To,
The Admission Committee,
Graduate Studies.

It has been a pleasure to get to know and work with …….. one of the most excellent and enterprising
students from the ….batch. I taught his Microprocessor in semester V and conducted a lab, and in semester
VII, I taught mobile communication and computing. During his final year, he completed a project on AI-
based self-driving car mechanisms under my supervision. The project aimed to build a self-driving car that
detects lanes, traffic signs, speed breakers, and other obstacles. The road/lane was detected using canny
edge detection, CNN, and OpenCV to see traffic signs. The car was trained with over 35000 images, and
obstacle detection was carried out using a cascade classifier machine learning technique. Different neural
networks enabled the project to detect signals, obstacles, etc., and the comprehensive data set was used to
enhance the project's practicality. He has worked on technologies such as N.N., IoT, Autonomous vehicles,
Haar, Canny Edge, Self-Driving Cars, OpenCV, Raspberry Pi, Arduino, and IoT. Using real-world data, the
trained model resulted in an accuracy of 97%. He further co-authored a paper, 'A Self-Driving Car Platform
Using Raspberry Pi and Arduino,' and was published in IEEE Xplore, 6th International Conference on
Computing, Communication, Control and Automation (ICCUBEA), 26-27 Aug. 2022. He was focused,
diligent, and involved throughout the competition and paper publication process. I was pleased with his
performance. The projects were well-researched, implemented, documented, and presented.

His academic performance has been consistent and immaculate, and he has remained in the top 5% of the
class. He is focused, goal-oriented, and ambitious. He has distinguished himself by actively participating in
the department's practical work, lab sessions, and other activities. He has excellent lab skills; his journals
were completed and always submitted on time. Despite the hectic academic schedule, He took on projects
and extracurricular activities enthusiastically. He has attended multiple sessions and seminars on new
developments and innovations in the industry. He is very creative and can undertake any task
independently and complete it within a given time frame. He has participated in various hackathons,
technical quizzes and competitions, seminars, workshops, and other college activities. He is capable of
working with and leading a team. He is a good communicator and is proficient in written and spoken
English.
I highly recommend him for Graduate Studies at your prestigious University, where he can spread his
enthusiasm and share his knowledge with others. He has several significant strengths that enable him to
succeed in whatever he takes up. He is talented and will be an asset to any Institution he works with. I
strongly recommend him for the master's and wish him the best.
Sincerely,

The Graduate Admissions

I am pleased to write this recommendation for ………., who aspires to attend the Graduate program at your
University. He completed his B.E. in computer engineering in the summer of ….(Batch). I have known him
for a few years now and have taught the class OOPM(java) and took his lab sessions in sem3, AOA in sem 4
(Both lab and theory), and A.A. &TCS in sem5. I am proud to state that He scored a perfect 10 in all of them.
Over these years, I have seen him grow from a rookie to a responsible and knowledgeable engineer. He has
always impressed me with his ability to grasp fundamentals, analyze and solve challenging problems, and
think out of the box.

Academically, he has been one of the brilliant students, and his academic performance displays the
ascending graph. He has a keen, perspective mind that accepts things only after satisfactorily evaluating
them. He can help deduce and understand intricate and abstruse concepts such as automata theory,
including grammar and languages, deterministic and non-deterministic automata, pushdown automata,
and Turing machines, which is undoubtedly not manageable by an average student. He commands a
thorough understanding of the fundamentals of his chosen field.
I have mentored him for a Mini Project in OOPM(java) called AlphaVoice, in which we created an app for
kids that will give text to audio output by clicking on English Alphabets - I used Java and various OOPS
concepts as well as designed GUI using classes like JFrame, JLayout, etc. He has a strong command of
object-oriented programming, applet programming, and error handling. He is keenly interested in arrays,
stacks, linked lists, queues, and search sorting. Hashing. Greedy algorithms, dynamic programming,
Backtracking, and pathfinding algorithms.

His ability to take and manage responsibilities well has increased his efficiency and enabled him to grow
and widen his perspective. His friendly and pleasing nature lets him get along well with his teammates. He
has a perfect knack for adapting himself to various situations. He demonstrated excellent team-building
skills and leadership skills. He is also systematic and organized and works in perfect tandem with his peers.
He is a keen observer who is ready to accept any challenges. He now wishes to pursue his interest and go
for a graduate degree, which I strongly support. I am convinced he will be a good fit for your University's
prestigious program and contribute as much as he learns from the elite students and faculty there. I
enthusiastically recommend him and wish him the best in all his endeavors.

Sincerely,

To,
The Graduate International Admissions,
…………….., a student from the Computer Engineering department has approached me for a
recommendation letter. I have been teaching at Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology for the last …. years
and have been the faculty advisor for Him through the four years of the undergraduate degree. He is a
significant addition to our Institution and has made us proud. I closely observed Him while working on his
Self-Driving Car Platform Using Raspberry Pi and Arduino research publication, published at IEEE Xplore, 6th
International Conference on Computing, Communication, Control and Automation (ICCUBEA). As a
professor, I have taught his class two courses, DLDA (mention complete form) in semester IV, mobile
communication, and computer network in semester …… He also completed a project (if any) as a course
component. His academic excellence and overall track record have laid a solid foundation, and he is ready
to take it forward by opting for graduate studies.

I also found him highly involved, enthusiastic, and curious in external and extracurricular activities. I have
often observed his sincerity and focus on the task during the class and project work. He is an excellent team
player, so he is a dependable class coordinator for various tasks, project-related communication, and
brainstorming. While working on their assigned projects, I realized he has excellent foresight and
visualization power and could quickly grasp the task and successfully plan. He has been involved in various
college activities. He was an active member of the Social Wing club. He played a significant role in one of
the largest fundraiser marathons in Mumbai, Udaan. Him's responsibilities included marketing and visiting
various institutions, spreading awareness of the Marathon's purpose, and encouraging people to
participate.

He comes from an affluent family in India, and his upbringing in a liberal environment has already
empowered him to be a global citizen. I am confident that he would feel right at home in the classroom and
love cultural diversity inside and outside. His academic experience at one of the top Institutions in India has
enriched his perspectives, and sharing these experiences and stories with his classmates would
undoubtedly bring out the best in him. I am sure he can wholeheartedly bring his knowledge and real-life
experiences to your community and blend into the ethos of collaboration for which your University is most
famous. The global exposure to these areas and the world-class faculty at your esteemed Institution can
accelerate his path toward his professional goals. I confidently and earnestly recommend him and wish him
the best in all his endeavors.

Thank you,
Vaibhav Narawade
