IMPORTANT NOTICE
GUARD GROUP maintains the BS7858 standard, ensuring that all applicants undergo a thorough security screening process. We
adhere to the SIA requirements, which stipulate that security companies within the Approved Contractor Scheme must follow
the BS7858 standard or an equivalent industry sector standard for screening individuals. The BS7858 standard, established
by the British Standards Institution (BSI), includes best practices and guidelines for screening individuals employed in secure
environments.
By applying for this position, you agree that the information you provide will be accurate and verifiable. All documents provided

Obtaining employment by deception may be a criminal offence and may resuly in a widthdrawal of offer of employment. Any
misrepresentation, omission of facts or false statements to Guard Group or its agents may result in dismissal without notice.
1) If offered employment, it will be initially for a probationary period of 16 weeks after a period of 12 weeks from start date for
screening.
2) During the probationary period, your contract of employment may be terminated by the “The Company” with immediate
effect; this applies to the screening period also.
3) Continued employment is conditional upon satisfactory screening and successful completion of the probationary period,
initially for 16 weeks followed by 12 months.
4) We complete social media and internet searches on all applicants to identify illegal activity, including but not exclusively hate
crime.
PERMISSIONS AGREEMENT
1) I give permission to Guard Group and its third party agents to contact external bodies. I understand that this includes
contacting former employers, government agencies, character references, social media searches and departments of education.
2) I also authorise checks with a credit reference agency and for information retrieved to be held on record according to current
legislation. If it is required to confirm previous employment or unemployment, I agree to make a statutory declaration in line with
the Statutory Declarations Act 1835.
4) I understand and give consent to Guard Group and its third party agents to complete the following proof checks: Address,
Identification, National Insurance, Criminal Record, Medical History, Credit Agency, Professional Qualifications, Academic
Qualifications, Work History (including self-employment, unemployment and any gaps in employment).
