Age: The candidate shall complete 23 years and shall not be more than 40 years of
age.
a. Periodic review and monitoring of perspective plan, Master Plan and ZDPR as
laid down under the Act.
b. Real time updation of Development Permissions i.e., approved layouts,
Buildings, Changes of Land Use, etc.,
c. Obtaining ongoing development works from zonal planning teams and integrate
them with the Master Plan.
d. GIS mapping, image processing, data representation and analysis, etc.
e. Creation of data-base
f. Vetting of data,
g. Extraction & Analysis of Vector as well as Raster Data for Mapping.
h. Capacity building activities for frequent training and hand-holding
i. Field visits
j. Any other works as directed
a. Creating comprehensive plans for the use of land and resources within a city
which included developing Public transport systems, managing environmental
impact, revamping infrastructure and designing public spaces etc.They also
focus on community engagement, sustainability initiatives and economic
development strategies, disaster preparedness plans, heritage conservation
projects, or affordable housing initiatives. They can also be involved in public
health planning, ensuring cities have parks and green spaces for community
wellbeing. Plus, they may help cities adapt to climate change by developing
sustainable practices and policies.
b. Account for traffic growth and manage solutions for common transportation
needs
c. Research best practices to improve energy efficiency and reduce carbon
emissions from local businesses and warehouses
d. Oversee project development and help in providing affordable housing
e. Plan and design townships and cities
f. Assist in planning and reviving low socio-economic areas within the district
g. Meet with industry experts to determine appropriate Disaster Risk Assessment
plans for Emergency Management.
h. Conducting research and data analysis to inform design and planning decisions.
i. Developing plans for land use, zoning, public utilities, community facilities, and
transportation networks.
j. Collaborating with public officials, developers, and the community to establish
project goals and guidelines.
k. Staying updated on environmental regulations, zoning laws, and other pertinent
legislation.
l. Any other works as directed.
Procedure of selection:
The interview date and venue will be intimated on a later stage to those who are
shortlisted based on their eligibility criteria.
The decision of the Metropolitan Commissioner, VMRDA in all aspects and in all
respects pertaining to the application and its acceptance or rejection as the case may
be, conduct of interview and at all consequent stages culminating in the selection or
otherwise of any candidate shall be final in all respects and binding on all concerned.
The Metropolitan Commissioner, VMRDA reserves its right to alter and modify regarding
time and conditions laid down in the notification for conducting the various stages up to
selection duly intimating details thereof to all concerned as warranted by any
unforeseen circumstances arising during the course of this process or as deemed
necessary by VMRDA at any stage.

The extension of the selected candidates will be based on the performance of the
individuals and all rights reserved by the Metropolitan Commissioner, VMRDA only.
