Wallpapers

In this report, clarify and analyze the User testing after they tested my wallpaper app that is
connected to Firebase so any user across the world can use it. Any user can Register in the
application and login and can easily view a wide variety of wallpapers, the user can download
the wallpapers, share the wallpapers with their friends and family, set the wallpaper as their
home screen or lock screen or both make a collection of wallpaper they like on the cloud and
they can also mark wallpapers as favorites to see them later. I have showed this app to 3 users
and tried to take their opinions and suggestions about the application to improve the user
experience of my application.

Let’s start with the first user. He instantly like the application very much from the first look. He
looked at the complete application step by step and gave very good comments about the general
idea, the user experience and the colors and fonts used in the application. He said the application
is a well-organized application and I had no trouble finding where everything is but he pointed
some mistakes in the colors I have made in favorites and collection page which does not match
the background and that they were hard to read. The changes I made are as follows:

Then I showed the application to the second user to get their opinion about the application. He
also liked the application very much on the first glance and He also liked the general idea of the
application of the application. But he pointed some changes in the UX of the app like when He
tried to make a new collection of wallpapers the view did not updated by itself, he had to reload
the page and the same issue was with the deletion of a collection he did not like it and pointed it.
The changes I made regarding this are as follows:

I agreed to change this because it was making the

user reload the page again and again which was
not healthy for the application as it should update
the deletion and addition automatically to the
user.

After adding the collection, I was just popping the

context but now I am also updating the state of the
page to get the updated collection every time user
adds a new collection
After changing the application according to the second user suggestions now when a user adds or
deletes a collection the application automatically updates the User interface accordingly.
Then I showed the application to the third user they also liked the basic idea of the application
and also both the second and third user saw the app past changing the app from the suggestions
of the first user he gave suggestions about the layout of the application like There is a lot of
spacing between the back button and the option button, The Add button in the collection should
also include some text, There should be a separate button to go to profile screen. The changes I
made according to the suggestions of the user are as follows:

space which makes the wallpaper go below very
much .

I made the image fit the height of the page and I moved
the menu to the app bar and download button to the top
of the image

the icon so it more clarifies
why the icon is there
 The profile should open from a separate
Button so it is more user friendly

to open profile would be good and the user would
know where to click to open the profile page
currently the user has to figure out by themselves

Finally, after the modifications that I made to the application after the user, I presented it to the
user again and the opinions were good about the application, which became suitable for its purpose
in appearance and use. Through this, we can know the importance of the user test in any application
to take their idea and try to develop as possible because it will become for the user to used and get
benefit of it or take what they need according to the application.
