Ladies and Gentlemen, the Philippine National Anthem and the Teachers’

In this time and age, the nobility of the teaching profession had been proven
with so much appreciation from the palpable testimonies of those lives that
have been touched and transformed by one venerated teacher. Thus, these
appreciations could not be even more meaningful without paying tribute to
all those brave souls who have been champions of learning and mentoring
amidst the tests of time. Today is a no ordinary day, for a celebration is
called to honor our unsung heroes of the new millennium… our dear
Bagonhon Teachers!
Honored teachers, a warm virtual welcome to the father of the Division of

Bago City, Dr. Allan B. Yap, CESO V, Schools Division Superintendent.

Thank you Dr. Yap and allow us also to extend our gratefulness on behalf of
the 1, 400 teachers in the Division for your efficient and unyielding
leadership towards excellence.

Indeed, every teaching experience is a blessing, and every student

encounter is a blessing to experience. Through the years, we remained
steadfast with our mantra of creating a book of life with a happy ending that
every student deserves.
Let us all give a cordial Bagonhon welcome to our beloved Regional Director,
DepEd Region 6, Dir. Gemma Ledesma.

Thank you Dir. Ledesma for serving as an inspiration for us teachers to

continue fulfilling our mission as catalyst of change.
Respect and honor to all human beings irrespective of their belief, religion
and race are values that we teachers are bound to give full allegiance. We
have handled students of varied cultural backgrounds, personal perceptions
and firm principles but still, we did not fail to bring out the best in them. As
we are all experiencing this health crisis and continuously hurdles its ill-
effects particularly in the field of education, the Division of Bago City with all
its 46 elementary and secondary public schools and a number of private
schools have their own shares of giving a part of them as gestures of sharing
and caring especially to those who have been devastated by this health
crisis. No virus can definitely hinder our Bagonhon Teachers to serve, share
and show care for we are all in this battle.. one division.. decades of noble
affirmation… a genuine inspiration.

Videos as such are tangible proofs of how honorable the works of our
teachers are. From the bulk forms that needs to be accomplished all year
round up to the never-ending search for timely and ICT-integrated visuals in
aid for teaching, these speak of a modern heroism that is within every
Bagonhon Teacher. The heroism that never fails to fade up to this trying
time; that never put values at stake over money, much more, the gesture of
being stewards of kindness and hope is always manifested.
Ladies and gentlemen, as we all celebrate our day as teachers, it is but

proper that we give due credits to all those who have been true to their

Kudos to all our awardees and may you all continue to inspire us to be
paradigms of compassion and true service to our fellows. Once again

As part of today’s celebration, a raffle draw will be initiated by the division as

our way of acknowledging all the sacrifices of our dear Bagonhon Teachers.
As being said, it’s not about the value of the prize that we are after but of
the act of paying tribute to us teachers… ladies and gentlemen, our first set
of winners for our raffle draw.

Once again, our warmest congratulations to the first set of winners of our
raffle draw.
Moving on, the versatility of our teachers is not just limited during class
hours but it goes beyond that. As expected, the creativity and ingenuity of
the 21st century teachers is limitless as long as it merit positive input in the
development of our learners. Thus, with all the technological advancements
all within our reach, we, the teachers of today are not spared from the
ascendancy of the power of technology may it be in aid of learning or just for
plain fun.
Ladies and gentlemen, Bagonhon teachers, we are delighted to bring you,

our contestants in the first ever Teachtok Challenge competition.
Pretty much excited partner! Now, for the information of everyone, this
teachtok contest is our way of showing the world how creative our
Bagonhon teachers are amidst this worldwide pandemic. And here are the
mechanics and criteria for judging…

And now, Bago City, are you guys ready?! Let us burn the house down as we
present to you the first batch of contestants in our teachtok challenge.

Wow! Who would have thought that a pandemic can bring out the creative
side of our teachers?! That is truly awesome and mind you that was only our
first batch of contestants and of course we have more to go!
A while ago a number of our worthy Bagonhon teachers were given prizes as
winners in the draw lots sponsored by the teachers’ federation as a form of
deep appreciation to all the hardwork and sacrifices of our Baonhon
teachers. This time, let us again be motivated as we draw the second batch
of winners.

Congratulations to all our winners in the raffle draw and may the prizes that
you will receive serve as a motivation to continue living up to the legacy of
sharing the spark of faith, communion in mission and zeal of service to our
fellows!
As we continue with today’s momentous activity, we shall once more witness

the creative side of our Bagonhon teachers as we discover the peculiar
artistry of the second batch of contestants in our teachtok challenge.
Teachers, fasten your seatbelts as we unveil right in front of your very eyes
the second batch of our contestants. Here they are!
That was really a show of expressions, creativity and artistry! Right partner?
Exactly partner! What we have witnessed was an array of brilliance in the

form of artistry and eloquence wrapped in ingenuity. That was the Bagonhon
teachers’ way!
And of course partner, in any contest, there will always be someone who will
stand out, but nevertheless, all who have participated are all winners in their
own rights for in making a video with artistry is never easy how much more if
you have it presented in front of thousands of spectators.
Definitely partner! All of them are considered winners and are worthy of a
scalding round of applause. Once again congratulations and a job well done.
Ladies and gentlemen, with great pride, we present to you the winners of our
first teachtok challenge. May we request ______ to please do the honors in
announcing the winners.
A genuine greetings to all our winners and may you all continue to be
champions of creativity and artistry.
With all these gestures of appreciation that we all are having in this very
special day as teachers, it is truly so heartwarming to say that amidst this
worldwide pandemic, we all have remained committed in our allegiance as
stewards of change. A change that will make a better place for each and
everyone.
Indeed, the world teachers’ day celebration is a true manifestation of the

nobility of our profession and vocation. No form of virus shall hinder us from
fulfilling our mission to teach more so of our vision to transform lives. Let us
all continue to embrace the challenges of time for it is when we acknowledge
our flaws and strengths that we become more resilient not just as teachers
but as citizens of our beloved homeland.
This celebration may happen only once a year but our influence in the
millions of leaners that we have encountered through the years is beyond
measure. You, We, are not just teachers but we are shapers of the future.
And as we cap this remarkable activity, we would likewise wanted to extend

our gratefulness to the men and women behind the success of this
undertaking.
