Wind Energy :
Wind energy is the energy stored in the wind, and it is a
type of renewable and clean energy. It can be used in
several ways. It can be converted into electrical energy
through turbines, and into mechanical energy using
windmills, which grind grains. It was also used in the past to
transport water and move... Ships using sails.

Wind farms :

Wind farms are a large group of turbines that produce

electricity, amounting to several hundred. There are two
types of wind farms: some are land-based, and some are
marine. The only difference between the two is the
presence of turbines on land or in the sea. It should be
noted that Pointing out that sea winds are stronger and
better for producing electricity, but in return they require a
higher cost in construction and maintenance than their
counterparts on land.

Examples of onshore wind farms around the world :

Gansu Wind Farm in China, which is the wind farm with the
highest electricity production in the world. Alta Farm in the
United States of America. Jay Salmer's farm in India. The
United States of America has the largest number of the
largest onshore wind farms in the world, and the vast areas
used to place these turbines can be exploited for other
purposes such as agriculture.

Turbine :
Turbines are designed in a way that enables the kinetic
energy of the wind to be converted into electrical energy
that can be used or stored until needed. Small ones can be
used to charge a battery, while larger ones can meet the
household’s needs for electrical energy. As for large groups,
which are called wind farms, they are used. To generate
significant energy in order to reduce fossil fuel consumption.
Turbines are devices consisting of several parts, namely: the
long shaft, whose length varies from one turbine to another,
knowing that as the height of the turbine increases, its
ability to generate electricity increases, due to the increase
in wind speed at the top. The blades vary from one turbine
to another. Some of them are horizontal and resemble an
airplane propeller, but of a much larger size, and some of
them resemble a giant egg whisk. Electricity generator,
which converts the mechanical energy in the blades into
electrical energy. Batteries, used to store the resulting
energy. In addition to several other parts to control the
turbine, such as changing the direction of its blades, or
stopping it from the wind becoming too strong, such as
when a hurricane strikes.
