Now to start you may be wondering, what exactly is Planful?


- Great question! Planful is the pioneer of financial performance management
cloud software. Our platform is used around the globe to streamline
business-wide planning, budgeting, consolidations, reporting, and analytics.
Planful empowers finance, accounting, and business users to plan confidently,
close faster, and report accurately.

Why is Planful hiring right now?


- 2023 was a massive year for Planful. We had record setting profit and revenue
numbers in the first half of 2023 and we’re using that to fuel product growth
as well as hire more great folks like yourself to the team.

What is Planful building now?
- Planful is expanding numerous parts of its business and product suite. As you
now know, our core platform is used to streamline and automate operations
for finance and accounting teams. We’re expanding product features around
this, including implementing AI and more aggressively leveraging our data to
further automate a lot of manual processes.
- The exciting part of our software is that the fundamentals and principles
behind it can be applied to many different departments within a business.
With this in mind, there are endless possibilities on what we can build moving
forward. For example, we are developing products to help Marketing
departments improve performance and create integrated campaigns, or HR
departments with headcount and workforce planning.

Ok, now why should I join the Engineering team?


- We are a SaaS company, so our software is the core of our business and the
engineers are in charge of building it. The technical challenges of developing a
product like ours are deep and complex, and we need talented,
product-focused engineers to help us scale.
- You’d be an integral part of our roadmap moving forward and able to make a
tangible impact on the direction of the business. Also, you would work with a
world-class engineering team (see leadership below) and have ample
opportunity for growth moving forward.
