together, she was found to be a pregnant from the Holy Spirit. 19 But her husband Joseph, being a just man, and not wanting to b make an example of her, cdecided to ddivorce her secretly. 20 But while pondering these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying: Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take your wife Mary, for that which is in her is born of the Holy Spirit; 21 and she will deliver a son, and you will call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins. 22 And all this happened in order to fulfill the word of the prophet, saying: Behold, the virgin will become pregnant and deliver a son, and they will call his name Emmanuel, which is e translated, God is with us. 24 And rising from sleep, Joseph did as the angel of the Lord had commanded him, and he took his wife, and he did not know her until the time when she delivered her son, the firstborn, and he called his name Jesus.
