Joined Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, New Delhi in 1991 as Junior
Research Fellow Subsequent to postings as Senior Research Fellow, Research
Officer, Senior Research Officer, Assistant Professor Grade III ,Associate Professor

Served as Senior Research Office of IGNCA and National Mission for Manuscripts
for managing the academic, administrative and financial responsibilities related to HQ
staff of the NMM as well as Manuscripts Resource Centres and Manuscript
Conservation Centres located in various states of our Country from April 2009 to 9 th
December, 2010.
Served as Director incharge, National Mission for Manuscripts, New Delhi.
Head of the Department Of Kalakosha Division of IGNCA to manage the activities of

4. Experience :
I. Towards fulfillment of the objectives of IGNCA coordinated more than forty projects
related to preparation of critical editions of various fundamental texts on India Arts
with scholars and publications of the same with co-publishers.
II. Organizing Workshops, to train young scholars in the field of deciphering the ancient
scripts, reading of manuscripts and preparation of editions. Since 1994 up to 2012.
III. Organized more than fifteen workshops involving academic, administrative and
financial responsibilities in collaboration with various Universities of our country.
IV. Instrumental in Documenting the Recording of Vedic recitations of all available
recensions such as Jaiminiya, Ranayaniya and Kauthuma recension etc. with the help
of vedic Pandits of various recensions available in various states of India.
V. Organized and documented various Vedic rituals with the help of Agnihotrin and
Vedic Pandits of various shakhas.
VI. International Seminar on Shilpa and Cultural Resurgence from Sassanid to Seljuqids
in March 2014 at IGNCA , New Delhi.
VII. Associated with National Seminar on Nalanda Tradition of Buddhism in Asia, in
November 2013 in collaboration with Tibet House, New Delhi and IGNCA.
VIII. 15th World Sanskrit Conference organized by Rashtriya Sanskrit Samsthan, New
Delhi and International Association of Sanskrit studies in January 2012 where
undersigned was instrumental in organization of the activities related to Exhibition
and Theatre programme as well as Convener of the Manuscriptology Section and
also the Convener of Panel discussion on Intellectual preservation of Manuscripts of
the 15th World Sanskrit Conference, New Delhi as well as one of the Coordinator
of the Exhibition, viz. Vishvavara and Festival of theatre where six performance
related to ancient most Sanskrit theatre have been performed and under the exhibition,
we have brought out a prestigious volume on Vishvavara: Sanskrit for Human
Survival under the General Coordinatorship of Dr. K. K. Chakravarty.

XXII. Associated in ‘Who is Who’ project of the Rashtriya Sanskrit Samsthan, New Delhi
from November, 1986 to March 1990 and traveled, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh,
Gujarat, Maharashtra and some parts of Rajasthan and Bihar in connection with
collection of data from the traditional Sanskrit Scholars. The book has already been
published by Shahitya Academy, New Delhi.
XXIII. Worked for Rashtriya Veda Vidya Pratishthan, New Delhi now renamed as Mahrshi
Sandipani Rashtriya Veda Vidya Pratishthan, Ujjain (M.P.) in connection with the
collection of data of Vedic Pandits in 1990.
XXIV. Attended many Workshops organized by NCERT, New Delhi in connection with
Storey writing project, preparation of Dictionary of educational terms and
preparation of books and review of books for IXth, Xth & XIth, XIIth classes and
contributed in the workshops. NCERT has acknowledged the contribution in the
above mentioned publications.
XXV. Assisted in the organization of many Workshops, Seminars and International seminars
organized by the IGNCA.
