    Objective of the program:


    The main objective is to make the students understand about the concepts in data science.

    The specific goals included:.


     Applying design thinking principles to develop innovative solutions for complex problems in AI and data
    science.
     Providing participants with practical, hands-on experience in using AI and data science tools and
    techniques within a design thinking framework.
     Emphasizing the importance of understanding user needs and experiences to create more effective and
    impactful AI and data science applications.
     Enhancing participants' skills in both design thinking and technical aspects of AI and data science to
    better address real-world challenges.

    Report of the program:


    Day-1:16.04.2024
     The event started with the Tamil Thaai Vazhthu, as the graciousness of Mother Tamil must be praised in
    the beginning of every event.
     Vaishnavi (II year-AIDS) commenced the event with a warm welcome to all attendees. She expressed
    gratitude to everyone for their presence and highlighted the significance of the worlshop on AI and
    Data Science in today's technological landscape.
     Midhun (II year-AIDS) introduced the esteemed guests, Dr.B.Ezhivalan providing a brief overview of his
    remarkable academic and professional accomplishments. Midhun emphasized Dr. Ezhivalan's expertise
    in the fields of IT industry, setting the stage for an enlightening discourse.
     In the first day of workshop, the students had been thought with the basic concept of data science and
    the tutors gave us the simple and understandable definition of every concept. They were so interactive
    and taught many informative things.
     The first day, they thought about the packages such as pandas, numpy and matplotlib. It was a nice
    session and they taught us with the simple codes.
    Day-2: 17.04.2024

     On the second day, we had a very clear explanation about the algorithms of data science and we had
    been taught how to implement the algorithms in the code that we use in the codes to get the accuracy
    of the datasets.
     The tutors Mr. Lokesh and Mr. Dev Anand gave us a wonderful session on the next day. We had also
    been taught to use non-coding software Tableu which is used to visualize the datasets.
     Surendhar.N (II year-AIDS) extended a heartfelt vote of thanks to Dr.B.Ezhivalan, Mr. Lokesh, Mr. Dev
    Anand for their insightful teaching, expressing appreciation for her invaluable contributions to the
    event. He also thanked Mrs. P. R. Ajitha for her guidance and support in organizing the guest lecture.
    Additionally, Midhun expressed gratitude to all attendees for their active participation and enthusiastic
    engagement throughout the session.
     The event concluded on a positive note, leaving attendees inspired and motivated to further explore
    the realms of AI and Data Science in their academic and professional pursuits.

    Conclusion:

    The students learned about the how python programming helps in data science with hands on
    practices. Design Thinking-Based Workshop on Artificial Intelligence and Data Science" effectively
    merges creative problem-solving with technical expertise to address complex challenges in these fields.
    By integrating design thinking principles with hands-on experience, fostering cross-disciplinary
    collaboration, and focusing on user-centric solutions, the workshop equips participants with the skills
    and approaches needed to innovate and create impactful AI and data science applications. This
    approach not only enhances technical proficiency but also ensures that solutions are practical and
    aligned with real-world needs.
