Recommendations for a Better Unloading Process
Power Required:
Operation Instructions:
First, to start with the unloading process, the augers are activated (power
take-off); then, the hydraulic roll movement is activated as well. It is
very important to keep this sequence to prevent an excessive system
effort. To stop the unloading process it is necessary to proceed the
other way round. First, the roll movement is stopped (the tractor
hydraulics is deactivated) and around 10 seconds later the augers are
also deactivated (stop the power take-off). If this last step is not
followed, the main auger will remain full of grain, which may cause the
cardan shaft fuse to cut. If this situation may occur, the roll should be
activated in the opposite direction to the normal operation to "empty"
the main auger. Then, proceed as previously instructed.
End of Bag:
When the machine is at around 1.5 meters (4.9 feet) from the end of
the bag, the roll movement speed is lowered with a flow control valve.
At the same time, the machine height is lowered as much as possible,
always keeping sufficient distance between the bag and the cross
augers protection cover to prevent damaging the bag in its lower part.
Then, the load speed-up pusher is moved all along the way against the
tube. When the sides of the bag are damaged and the grain starts
falling, the roll movement should be stopped. Once the grain stops
falling, the roll movement should continue until grain starts falling
again. This sequence is repeated until reaching the end of the bag. The
safer the bag tie is, the less amount of grain that will remain at the
end. The best results have been achieved when sealing the bag with
two wood planks bolted one above of the other with the bag in
between as a "sandwich", rolling the end downwards the bag before
bolting the planks. Under these conditions, the remaining grain
quantity ranges between 80 and 250 kg (from 5 to 20 20-liter buckets).
This will depend, to a large extent, on the type if grain, way of following
the previously detailed instructions, and seal efficiency at the end of
the bag.

a truck or other vehicle, special care
must be taken to remove all the
elements used to fix the machine to
the transport vehicle.
2) If the machine is delivered in
tow, running on its own wheels, the
pressure of the wheels must be
checked to be at a reasonable level.
3) In both cases, the machine's
paint and structure must be checked to
be free from damages that could have
taken place during transport. If that
were the case, it would be convenient
to assess if the damage could influence
the machine's normal operation or if its
integrity could be affected in the future.

Attention: This machine has been design to achieve work traction while the bag is
been rolled. Forcing the machine into the grain with the tractors reverse creates over loads
that will have direct impact on the machine's transmission. This action may cause
premature wear or even machine break down.
