Select the cartridge type (The cartridge type is marked on the package case), then
the calculation result is displaying.

6. External data print

1. Click the icon to create a new print message.
2. Click the icon to enter the page System Options/External Input to set up the
protocol of RS232 interface.

3. Format the print message as the sample below. Presuming the external device sends the
ASCII of the text string “ABC1234”
4. Setting up the 1st line print data for external data replaced.
{1,3} : The DJ45 controller is taking the 1st character to 3rd character receiving from the
data string of the external device to place the printed message. Click .

7. Click to start print. Once the DJ45 controller receives the external data, the print
message is updating and showing as below.
