LAB ACTIVITY
Data Science Applications (Data-flair, n.d.)
Data Science has brought another industrial revolution to the world. Every industry requires data. With the
advancements in computational capabilities, companies can analyze large-scale data and understand insights
from this massive horde of information. Furthermore, with data science, industries can make proper data-
driven decisions.
Here is the list of top three (3) data science applications that you must know:

TikTok, whose mainland Chinese counterpart is Douyin (Chinese: 抖音; pinyin: Dǒuyīn;
lit. 'Shaking Sound'), is a short-form video hosting service owned by Chinese internet
company Byte Dance. It hosts user-submitted videos, which can range in duration
from three seconds to 10 minutes. It can be accessed with a smart phone app.

Instagram is a photo and video sharing social networking service owned by Meta
Platforms. It allows users to upload media that can be edited with filters, be
organized by hashtags, and be associated with a location via geographical tagging.
Posts can be shared publicly or with preapproved followers. Users can browse other
users' content by tags and locations, view trending content, like photos, and follow
other users to add their content to a personal feed.

X, commonly referred to by its former name Twitter, is a social media website based
in the United States. With over 500 million users, it is one of the world's largest
social networks and the fifth-most visited website in the world.
