Project Description:
In a clinic, it is important to have well-defined processes that prioritize patient care and
workflow efficiency. By focusing on these areas, a clinic can ensure that all operations run smoothly and
effectively. However, in today's fast-paced healthcare landscape, this can only be achieved through
digitized systems and advanced technology. Traditional methods such as paper-based or manual
record-keeping, appointment scheduling, and billing are inconvenient, time-consuming, and prone to
errors. With a digitized system, a clinic can not only overcome these challenges but also improve the
experience of both their patients and staff.
The Web-Based Patient Management System with Appointment and Billing Integration for the
Sweet Tooth-Dental Clinic is an online platform that aims to streamline the administrative processes of
the clinic. The project aims to build a platform that will ease daily tasks, such as retrieving patient
information, scheduling appointments, and processing payments, to foster smoother transactions and
deliver higher-quality services. The system can be accessed online, allowing patients to schedule dental
appointments from their own devices and allowing staff to monitor patient records and make updates in
real time easily. By implementing this platform, the clinic can increase efficiency, reduce administrative
workload, and enhance overall satisfaction.
