“THE PROBLEM AND ITS SETTING”
Introduction
Should contain at least four paragraphs with four to five
statements each.
1st paragraph: Conceptualization of the proposed business, no
need to cite related literature.
2nd paragraph: Discusses the ideal scenario "what should be"
of the project, arranged from global to local studies.
3rd paragraph: Presents the current scenario "what is", with
cited studies from global to local.
4th paragraph: Describes the gap between "what should be"
and "what is," supporting the need for the study.

Procedure

Data collection is defined as the procedure of


collecting, measuring and analyzing accurate
insights for research using standard validated
techniques.
Statistical Tools
Statistical tools aid in the interpretation and use of
data. They can be used to evaluate and comprehend
any form of data. Some statistical tools can help them
to see trends, forecast future sales, and create links
between causes and effects. When you’re unsure
where to go with your study, other tools can assist you
in navigating through enormous amounts of data.
Forecasting Tools

Effective forecasting is an important element for any successful


business. A forecast allows you to make a prediction about
future conditions for your company so you can plan accordingly.
It's important to understand the various types of forecasting
tools available when making your projections. In this article, we
discuss the ways you can use forecasting in your business and
explain some of the top forecasting tools.
Industry Analysis

This section discuss how the industry will be


analyzed using a particular tool.

The analysis focuses mainly on the different environmental


factors that affect the industry so as to determine the
competitiveness of the proposed business.
Competitor Analysis

Describes how the competitor should be


analyzed using a particular marketing tool.
When information is not available from
documentary sources, the data are usually
provided by the prospective customers
through surveys.
Customer Analysis

Contains the analysis to be conducted about


the prospective customers.
The questionnaire must be carefully prepared
to capture the desired information about the
customers, their financial capacity, willingness
to buy, taste and preferences, buying behavior,
and other related information necessary in the
analysis.
Market Analysis

Describes how the market will be


analyzed relative to the demand and the
supply.
The analysis should include the trends of
historical demand and supply data,
forecasting, gap analysis, pricing analysis
and a marketing program.
Technical Analysis

Contains details on how the required physical


facilities, manufacturing processes, and
operations will be analyzed.
The analysis shall include a study on the
availability of the required raw materials,
conversion process, inventory requirements,
physical structures, facilities and equipment,
and costing of the product.
Management Analysis

Describes the analysis of the most appropriate


organizations with accompanying structures
for the proposed business.
The analysis shall include a study on the
qualification requirements, job description,
functions, and salary package and benefits for
the various positions.
Financial Analysis

Contains the different projected financial


statements that will be prepared.
It includes the financial analysis to be
conducted to determine the profitability,
liquidity and solvency of the proposed
business.
An analysis of the investment shall also be
included.
Ethical Considerations

Contains the ethical practices that must be


observed by the proponentduring the conduct
of the feasibility study.
The observance of the ethical practices and
procedures begins from the time the
questionnaire is submitted to the ethics
committee of the school for approval. It includes
the preservation of the respondents’ anonymity.
