Option 2: Fall Break Activity Interview
Find a Chinese friend other than your roommate and share about your fall break. Send the video to WeChat
group. Listen to your partner's speaking and react naturally. Try to use only Chinese and body languages to
make meaning, rather than a dictionary. No need to write the script here. Rehearse before you record!
Prompt: You and your new Chinese friend will start a conversation naturally by greeting and sharing your
recent updates (busy or not, what you two are busy with, etc.), and you will narrate one event you did during
the fall break recently with details (when, where, with whom, content, comments, etc.), and any other topics
you may find of mutual interests.
