Saswat- What is a security system?

The most basic definition of any security system is found in its name. It is literally a means or
method by which something is secured through a system of interworking components and
devices.
In this instance, we’re talking about home security systems, which are networks of
integrated electronic devices working together to protect against burglars and other
potential home intruders.
Next Aayush will tell the components used to build this alarm.

Aayush- What are the components used to build this alarm this device?
The components we have used to build this device are-
 Arduino Uno R3
 GSM SIM 800C
 PIR Motion sensor
 Sim Card
 Jumper Wires
 Wire
 USB A-B cable
 Piezo Buzzer
 12V 2A Adapter
 Enclosure Project box
 Arduino IDE software
 Mobile Phone
 Computer
Next Saswat will explain the building process of the alarm.

Saswat- How we build this alarm?

First of all, we connected the Gsm sim 800c to the Arduino board. Then we connected the
buzzer, PIR motion sensor to the circuit. Next, we placed a sim in the sim card slot in the
gsm sim 800c. Then we connected the circuit into the computer and powered on and
uploaded the required code sketch into the board.
Next Aayush will explain about the functioning of the alarm.

Aayush- How does the security alarm work?

It works on the simple concept of securing entry points into a home with sensors. These
when armed, protect a given space by creating an invisible zone that cannot be breached
without sounding an alarm. When anyone crosses through the sensor it sends multiple
messages and calls and produce a high-decibel sound loud enough for anyone to hear and
wake up from sleep.
Next Saswat will explain about the management of the device.

Saswat- How can it be managed?

It can be managed through the Arduino IDE app accessible through a pc. The sound of the
buzzer can be turned on/off using the buzzer on/off switch. Or the device can directly be
turned off by cutting off the power supply from the device.

Aayush- So at last it can be can conclude that this device is very useful for securing our
home from thieves. At last Saswat will demonstrate the model.
