• Every BIM Model should be unique.
• I place emphasis on creativity, originality and innovation. Every BIM Model should be
unique and different. BIM Models of Local Housing Plans will be preferred.
• No PDF submission will be entertained.
• You are required to submit all related data including, but not limited to:

• Literature Collected
• Project Model File
• Project Schedule
• Model Screenshots
• Simulation, Animation, Walkthroughs, flythrough video files
• Families
• Plugins Setup (If used any)

Autodesk Revit, 3Ds Max and A360 will be used in this project.
Architectural Modeling will be done in Revit and then different
approaches for Rendering will be used including Static and Motion
Images.

III. Energy Comparison of BIM Model with Different


Openings Configuration
Energy Usage of Residential/Commercial buildings largely depends upon
Building Envelopes. Different openings configuration (at least 3) will be modeled
and analyzed using Energy Analysis Engine of Autodesk Revit. Green Building
Studio may be used as well.

Energy Analysis Report
Using Autodesk Revit’s Energy Analysis Engine and Green Building
Studio, Energy Analysis of Residential/Commercial Architectural BIM
Model will be carried out. Report will contain detailed information of
each aspect present in Computer Generated Report.

V. Sun, Shadow & Solar Study of BIM Model at Karachi


with Different Surroundings
Solar heat gain, daylight and shadows of every building depends upon the location and
surrounding. Main BIM Model will be developed using Building Elements while the
surrounding buildings can be modeled using Masses (at least 2 Arrangements).
Geographic and Weather location should be Karachi, Pakistan.

Families for different Safety equipment like Safety Net, Railings etc. (available in Pakistan) will be

Furnished Architectural Model with Outdoor Site
Well Furnished Architectural Model with outdoor facilities (Garage, Street) will be developed
using Autodesk Revit. Revit & 3Ds Max will be used for Animations, Flythrough and
Walkthroughs. (High Performance Computer with Core i5/i7 with at least 6 Gb Ram will be
required)

This project will be developed with the collaboration of three BIM Software. Simulation should be made

MEP Model (HVAC Only)
Autodesk Revit will be used for Architecture and MEP Modeling. Both
Model should have separate Revit project file. Clashes should be
identified between both the Models using Clash Detective Tool.
