Job Overview
Circle K is a global Fortune 200 company. A leader in the convenience store and fuel space, it has footprint
across 26 countries and territories. The Circle K Business Centre India (CKBCI) is an integral part of Circle K’s
Global Data & Analytics Team and the Data & Analytics Team Intern will be a key player on this team that will
help grow analytics globally at Circle K.
This position assists members of the Data & Analytics Team with key analytics initiatives and projects. The
intern will get the chance to develop their analytical problem-solving skills, get first-hand experience working
with rich, complex datasets and play an important role in helping teams make better decisions using data
analytics.

Science, Business Analytics, Technology, Science,

Knowledge We’d like it if you have some experience with/knowledge
of the following:
 Business intelligence & reporting (Power BI, Tableau,
Alteryx, etc.)
 Any relational (MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server etc.),
non-relational (MongoDB, DynamoDB) database
management systems and Data Engineering tools
 Big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Presto
etc.)
 Cloud computing services
 Microsoft Office applications (MS Excel, etc.)
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Undertake data collection, analyse, visualize and summarize key findings from existing datasets
2. Support teams by building models to address business problems
3. Define and implement rules for data wrangling and regularly updates and maintenance of database
4. Generate Analytics Reports to help the Data Science Team make informed decisions.
5. Implement knowledge of Statistics and Machine Learning to refine the journey of raw data to a prediction
capable endpoint
6. Document workflows and support Data Analytics leadership with the understanding of business and data
requirements, and iteratively work to create better data infrastructure
7. Freedom and opportunities to learn and introduce new tools, libraries and coding standards
