DAY 1 (OPENING)

CLUSTER III’3 PROJECT SHIELDS: INSET 2024 SCRIPT

A. PRELIMINARIES

MS. GEM: A delightful and prosperous morning to all!


Let me take this opportunity to express utmost appreciation for our esteemed
benefactors and donors’ efforts and contributions. This event would not be possible
without their assistance.
a. For providing us with an exceptional venue, and sound system, Philippine
Christian University- Dasmarinas, Cavite.
b. For supplying us with quality notebooks and envelopes, McDonalds-
Dasmarinas, Cavite.

Please allow me to begin the agenda for the day with a few reminders to create a
pleasant, productive, and high-quality atmosphere for all attendees.
1. Please assemble in your designated areas.
2. In a respectful manner, inquiries may be presented in the Parking Lot which will
be addressed subsequent to the ` conclusion of each seminar-lecture in its
entirety.
3. Maintain the area's hygiene by employing appropriate waste management
practices.
4. Be respectful and honorable to all by refraining from using your phone during
the lecture proper.
5. Learning should be an enjoyable experience.
The program will start in a few minutes.

SIR CLIF: The benevolence and hospitality extended by the administration of the
Philippine Christian University, a highly esteemed institution, by providing us with an
exceptional venue and assistance helped in carrying out one of the most historical
events and momentous occasion in Cluster III as we commence the first ever
cluster-wide instructional training program for the academic year 2023-2024.

Prepare to be immersed in a realm of novel insights and knowledge as our


distinguished and knowledgeable lecturers preside over this 3-day training program.
MS. GEM: Anticipate an enjoyable time through a variety of activities designed to boost
your energy while learning. Brace up to learn new things as we dwell on different
topics within the CPP's parameter.

SIR CLIF: and I am Cliftone Leonzon from New Era National High School, delighted to
serve as your hosts and welcome to….

MS. GEM AND SIR CLIF: Cluster III’s In- Service Training 2024 with the title “Child
Protection Policy through Project SHIELDS: Knowledgeable to Highly Knowledgeable,
Implemented to Highly Implementation of CPP Programs, Projects, and Policies”

MS. GEM: To begin, let us all rise for the singing of Philippine National Anthem, followed
by an ecumenical prayer, and singing of Dasmarinas Hymn.
(Once tapos na ang singing ng dasma hymn, pause for a while)

SIR CLIF: Together, let us read and recite the Deped Quality Policy Statement.
B. REMARKS AND MESSAGES

MS. GEM: You may now be seated.


We are fortunate to have been given a chance to grace us with his time, kindness,
and generosity that made this event a success. Let us welcome on stage, Mr. Roland
I. Bayalan, Director, Transnational Education and Extension Program Philippine
Christian University - Dasmariñas City, Cavite. Let us give him a warm applause.

SIR CLIF: At this point, let us all hear a remark of special significance from our dynamic
leader, and ever-supportive Public School District Supervisor, Dr. Jessie A. Layugan,
let us give him a warm applause.

MS. GEM: At this juncture, let us all hear an inspiring message from our parent
supervisor whose intelligence and creativity helped in the achievement of Cluster III’s
goals, none other than Mr. Noel D. Anciado.

SIR CLIF: To formally acknowledge the participants of this 3-day training, let us welcome
on stage with an applause, one of the most strategic teaching assets and diligent
Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator of New Era Elementary School, Ms. Vanessa V.
Bumanlag.

MS. GEM: Without the ingenious intellect and effort of our training's advocate, this
momentous occasion remains unattainable. Let us welcome on stage, Roygvib
Montano, Learning and Development Coordinator and Master Teacher I of New Era
National High School for the statement of purpose.

MS. GEM: A joyous event like this requires a substantial amount of energy, let us first
refuel and ready ourselves for the actual lecture. May we all savor the refreshments
that have been arranged for us and after 30 minutes, we will proceed with the lecture
proper.

SIR CLIF: This rare opportunity is undeniably advantageous for all of us; therefore, we
are all privileged to be present as our lecturers impart their knowledge. Let us begin
the first segment of this lecture by inviting Ms. Gem April Banaga, Assistant Learning
and Development Coordinator and Teacher II of New Era Senior High School, to the
stage to introduce the initial training lecturer.

MS. GEM: (Introduces the first speaker- MR. MARLOWE D. MAURILLO)

SIR CLIF: I know that we are ready to dwell on the next part of our lecture session but
let us first have our lunch. Please rise for the blessing of the meal (prayer)

SIR CLIF: I hope everyone is energized and ready to start the second part of today’s
lecture. With great pride and honor, let me introduce our second speaker. (Introduce
the second lecturer- MR. ROMUALDO P. QUEZADA)

MS. GEM: That is indeed a very informative discussion.


Before we continue, we will have a 30-minute break to replenish ourselves with some
snacks.

SIR CLIF: At this juncture, we will be hearing a short talk about a topic where I believe,
everyone has experienced and can use for future studies. Let us welcome on stage,
The Stalwart Psychological Services.

SIR CLIF: What a nice talk we have there. Thank you for sharing your time and valuable
insight Stalwart Psychological Services.

MS. GEM: Indeed, our first day is jampacked with new learnings that I am sure will be of
help to us. But this is not yet the end because tomorrow, we will acquire new things
as our next set of lecturers share their knowledge. To remind everyone, here is our
learning blocks.

SIR CLIF: And as we end today’s session, here are some reminders to note:

1. The assigned school for tomorrow’s preliminary activity through sharing of


takeaway and insights are New Era Elementary School and Malinta Elementary
School. Please choose 1 participant for this activity. The sharing will be limited to 5
minutes to give way for the following activities.
2. There will be an evaluation after every session which will be opened for 2 hours.
Make sure to accomplish the form via the link to be sent by your respective M&E
coordinators.
3. Completion and accomplishment of all necessary tasks shall be monitored by the
class manager. Please do note that the certificates of completion and participation
shall only be given to participants who will comply.
4. Please bring the participant’s kit given all throughout the conduct of this training.
5. Do not forget to bring your own tumbler as we practice the “No single use of
plastic”

MS. GEM: With that, let us wrap up our first day by saying with energy this tagline
“CLUSTER III, SAMA- SAMA, FOR PROJECT SHIELDS”
