SCRIPT FOR DISTICT MEET 2024

M: Ladies and Gentlemen, Principals, School Heads, esteemed


guests, teachers, athletes, coaches and supporters.
Welcome to the Agoo East District Meet 2024! Today we
gather to celebrate not only the spirit of competition but also the
dedication, teamwork, and perseverance that sports embody.

J: As we kick off this exciting event, let us remember that sports


are more than just games: this is a platform for building
character, fostering friendships and inspiring future generations:

J: We are proud to showcase the talent and determination of our
young athletes as they compete for glory and pride for their
schools.

M: Now, without further ado, please stand as we honor our


country with the national anthem, followed by a prayer, La Union
Schools Division March and Agoo Hymn.

J: Thank you, please be seated. It is my pleasure to introduce a


person who has been a steadfast advocate of youth sports and
works tirelessly for athletes to shine. Join me in welcoming to the

tone for our event and remind us of the importance of coming
together as a community. We appreciate your leadership and

M: As we come together to celebrate our school pride, we will now


hoist our banner, a symbol of our commitment to excellence. To
lead us in this significant moment, may we call on stage our
Public Schools District Supervisor, Dr Luisito V. Libatqiue, School
Heads, Sports Coordinator and our dear guest.
M: With the banner now raised, Let it serve as a constant
reminder of our school spirit and dedication.

J: I am excited to introduce a passionate advocate for our


athletes. He will provide us with essential details for our different

J: As we conclude this opening ceremony, I’m thrilled to announce


that the games are officially underway! Let’s support our athletes
and make this a memorable event.
