Microsoft word is a word processing software program that helps you create and edit
document
 Starting MS-word
First way
1. Click search box then type Run.

2. Choose Run

3. Type winword, then click OK

 Second way
1. Right click on the desktop
2. Choose new
3. Click Microsoft Word Document
 Exiting Microsoft word
1. Save the document before you exit
2. Click File, click close or exit word or X
Creating a blank document
1. Click Microsoft office button, and then click new
2. Click blank document, and then click create
Saving document
1. Click file and then click save
2. Keyboard shortcut to save the file, press CTRL+S
Closing an open document
 Click file, and then click close.
Opening the existing document

Saving the document in a flash disk


1. Insert flash disk
2. Click file, then choose save as
3. In the save in box select flash disk later (E or G)

 Changing space between characters
1. Select the text you want to change their spacing
2. Click home tab and then click font arrow then chose Advanced.
3. In the spacing box select one of the following: expand or condense.
4. In the by box, increase or decrease in the number it.
 Adjust line spacing
1. Select the lines you want to change their spacing
2. Click home then click paragraph arrow.
3. Select indents and spacing, in the line spacing box select the option you want
4. Then click ok.
Tip: if you want to make the default, select a single then click ok.

 Inserting Date and time
1. Click where you want to insert date and time.

 Applying different style
1. Select the text you want to change its style.
2. Click Home, then click style arrow or ALT+CTRL+SHIFT+S.
3. In the style list box choose the style name.
Note: you can also use to apply style on the format titles.
 Deleting style

2. Right click your style.
3. Click delete, then select yes to confirm.

1. Place the cursor on the word you want.
