Many things can influence the academic achievement and emotional growth of a

student. In this regard, peers have more of an impact than teachers do. To what
extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

People hold a strong belief that students’ academic performances and emotional
development are better affected by their fellow classmates rather than their
teachers. From my perspective, I partly agree with this statement for some
reasons mentioned in this essay.
To begin with, people’s belief that peers influence on one another more than
teachers do is sound. In terms of learning, everyone wants to outperform and
have better academic results than their friends. Thus, they will inadvertently
create a passive competitive environment. It will be a necessary and sufficient
condition to motivate all students and thereby bring long-term value to the future
towards success. When it comes to emotions, friends are always the easiest to
talk to. This can be explained by the fact that Especially, they are the same age,
so it will be easy to find sympathy and share with them. In particular, an
individual they will believe that they will always have someone behind them to
focus on attempting and developing their capacity. For instance, whenever
someone has a difficult time in life, they will always have their friends standing
by their side to help them quickly overcome and continue to stand up for the
goal ahead.
However, notwithstanding the aforementioned agreement, it goes without saying
that teachers also play an important role in developing students' skills and
emotions. In developing learning capacity, teachers are the seniors, so they will
have more experience and knowledge, which might afford students will have
more faith to follow their lead. Besides that, when pupils want advice, teachers
will always be able to provide it. For example, if students are in a dilemma, the
advice from teachers, in this regard, would certainly be more helpful and
influential than from peers, who might have not seen enough in life to come up
with the best measures. (thêm idea)
In conclusion, teachers and peers havse varied effects on each individual, yet
they are both crucial for the student's personal growth. Hence, students should
try to listen and absorb knowledge from many sides, constantly learning and
training so that they can care yourself will bring you closer and closer to success
in the future.
