USER MANUAL OF CONVERSION TOOL ----

MEDIACODER

Normally the videos from clients are big and the following converter is used to
convert the videos into suitable size so that they can be updated to the
multimedia display.

1. Double click the icon below to install the conversion tool (MediaCoder).

2. Choose the language you need and click “OK”.

3. Click “next”.
4. Click “I Agree”.

5. Click “browse” to select the destination folder.


6. Click “Next”.

7. Click “next”.
8. Click “Run MediaCoder” first, then click “finish”.

9. Click the icon on the right bottom of the computer, you will see the interface
as follow.

10. Click “File” and select “Add File” to add the videos that need to be
converted.
11. After choosing the required video, click “File” and select “Load Preset”,
add the presetfile.xml. This presetfile.xml is in the folder named “User
Manual of Conversion Tool” in our software CD. Please do refresh after this
step. Parameters of presetfile.xml. have been preset.
12. Click “Transcode” and select “Start Transcoding”.

13. After transcoding, new videos will be created in the folder. You need to
rename these two videos to be A.avi and B.avi, then copy A.avi and B.avi to
the SD Card or USB.
Remark:
If the layout of the multimedia display is vertical, the videos will need to be
flipped by Format Factory software first. After that, you can use this conversion
tool to convert the videos.
