KNIME Extensions Installation Guide

1. To install a new extension, we need first go to the ‘File’ on the top left-hand corner of the KNIME
Analytics Platform. Here, we click on the ‘Install KNIME Extensions in KNIME Analytics Platform’
option as shown below.

2. After clicking on the ‘Install KNIME Extensions in KNIME Analytics Platform’ it will open a dialog box
where we need to search the extension we want to download. For example, in the video ‘KNIME
JavaScript Views (Labs)’ was installed, to install this we can search ‘javascript’ in the search bar which
will show the relevant extensions. Out of the listed extensions, we can select the ‘KNIME JavaScript
Views (Labs)’ and proceed further by clicking on Next. A screenshot of the dialog box is shown below.

3. On clicking Next the Installation Details come up, click Next again which will take us to the License
Review dialog box.

4. It is a General Public License, we can read it and move forward by accepting the terms of the license
agreement and finishing the installation. A screenshot of the same is shown below.

5. After this, a pop-up box will appear which will ask us to Restart the KNIME Analytics Platform to apply
the Software update. We could choose ‘Restart Now’ to apply the update immediately. A screenshot
of the pop-up is shown below.

The required Extension is installed. Happy Learning!!
