CHAPTER 3 METHODOLOGY
This research focuses to the Students of Laguilayan, National, High School
conducted this study under every individual students. A convenience sampling and a survey questionnaire were used in this study. In this chapter, we’ll look at the research design, study area, data collection instrument, sample method, and data analysis method, among their things. Research Design Instrument The researchers have selected to conduct a survey study design for the following student's respondents that will be polled in this chapter. Because it is the most successful approach for getting answers to each respondent and identifying the study purpose. The researchers chose survey questionnaire, because it is most suited on answering the study’s questions and objectives. The research survey questionnaire is being undertaken by the Students of Laguilayan, National, High School in order to collect and analyze data from the major respondents. The respondent’s responses are analyzed using questionnaire and a sample technique in the survey. Respondents of the Study This study focuses to the Students of Laguilayan, National, High School, that are influenced by numerous addictive elements of playing online games, as well as how they might overcome it. A convenience sample method was used to select the participant is purposely picked; convenience sample method is used. The study’s respondent is Rico Euma Aban Grade 11 Students, according to him playing online games it affects his academic performance which cause him left behind to their topic and for him it is a big distraction to him cause most of the time he prefers playing online games than doing his activities on every subject. Population Sampling The respondents were a specific entitled Grade 11 a group of students who were being experiencing the kind of problem. The researchers used a convenience sampling approach to pick only 5 students. To further minimize any harm to the respondent for the reason that we are still on outbreak, the researchers in this study created an online questionnaire that was used to collect information and data from the respondents, and then distributed these questionnaires online. The answers to the questions in the online questionnaire will be gathered.
1 Instrument for Data Collection The questionnaire was the main instrument used in the gathering of data. The questionnaire was in form of checklist. In the formulation of questionnaire items, the researchers used a simple and clear language to enable the respondents to understand and answer the question adequately. Method of Data Collection Giving questionnaires is much efficient, in obtaining analysis in this study observation and interviews are so much difficult and consumes time. The researchers decided to distribute a questionnaire to the respondents that is needed to gather the data. Before the distribution, the researchers explained their objectives of the research and importance of the accurate data. They also explained all these questions to the respondents, and they have their choices to answer. i
