MODIFICATION PROPOSAL

Subject: Modification for Production of Jet A-1 from K-1 at NGCF unit.

Jet A-1 can be produced from K-1 of Topping unit by steam stripping. At present this
processing takes place at ADU of Topping Unit. But for this, Feed at Topping unit must be
lowered. To rectify this problem, a proposal was made to treat K-1 at NGCF unit to produce
Jet A-1. And as per the decision of meeting on _____ Trail run of NGCF unit was performed
with some temporary arrangement. This trail run came as a success and hence a
modification required for transferring the on-grade Jet A-1 to its dedicated tank T-13. The
schematic drawing for required modification is attached herewith.
