Abortion: A Simple Overview

Introduction
Abortion is a situation where a
pregnancy is purposefully
terminated. Many, mostly of the
female gender, support the
legalization of this medical
procedure on the grounds that
women reserves the right to have a
say about what goes in their
bodies. Other people may believe
in the immorality of abortion
because it is essentially interfering
with the coming to be of a child. In
any case, although disagreement
persists, the ability to have an
abortion is necessary for the health
of women and gives them the
power to make a decision about
their futures.

Body
Abortion is the subject of a lot of
debates, and some countries
harden the rules for getting one. In
regions where it's an illegal
practice, many women resort to
unsafe abortions, which is life-
threatening. Approximately 25
million unsafe abortions occur
worldwide every single year as per
the World Health Organization. But
in jurisdictions where abortion is
permissible, abortions are doled
out by fewer women dying against
skullduggery.

Others believe that the existence


of life starts with the fertilized egg,
and thus abortion is criminal.
However, the philosophy of the
Constitution, like in the old US law,
*Roe *, was that women should be
the sole decision-makers regarding
their pregnancies. Young women
confronted with unwanted
pregnancies might undergo
problems such as lack of funds or
shying from acquiring education.

Researches, in particular, those


from the Guttmacher Institute,
have revealed that if women are
granted the permission to have
safe abortions, they lead a better
lifestyle. They have the freedom to
choose when they want to have
children which help them avoid the
pitfalls of poverty. Letting women
terminate the pregnancies they do
not want is what helps them to
think and decide on the future
positively.

Conclusion
Abortion may be a thorny subject,
but the main consideration is
staying on the trail of women's
issue and their rights. The hearth of
the problem is females that
deserve to have the last words over
their own bodies. Switching off will
not suffice to stem out abortion,
but it will only lead to more unsafe
procedures. If it stands as it is, we
will have there with the women
being safer. Good news to hear that
more women can make themselves
the best of their lives should come
from investments in healthcare
rather than banning abortion.
