PROJECTS OVERVIEW

ALLOCATED PROJECTS

In the Allocated Project Section of Codex Cue Android Development internship program, interns will
embark on a journey through the foundational stones of Android Development, working on three pivotal
projects: Flashlight app, Calculator, Notes taking app, each of these projects is designed to equip interns
with a solid understanding of how to build systems that can interpret, understand, and generate android
application in a way that is both meaningful and actionable.

Flashlight app This project will challenge you to create a flashlight app that will teach you how to control
a device's flashlight and manage user permissions, offering a straightforward introduction to Android
hardware APIs and permissions handling.

Calculator A calculator app provides a hands-on experience with user interface design and event handling,
focusing on implementing basic arithmetic operations and updating the UI in response to user inputs.

Notes taking app A note-taking app introduces the basics of data persistence and UI manipulation,
allowing you to learn how to create, display, and store user-generated content within an application.

 GOLDEN PROJECTS

Moving to the Golden Project Section, you will tackle two advanced projects: a Weather App and a Fitness
Tracker app. These projects are not only designed to deepen your understanding of android Development
but also to refine your skills in user interface making you industry-ready for entry-level positions. Together,
these projects encapsulate the essence of Android’s role in the industrial revolution era, preparing you to
harness the power of android development to drive innovation and efficiency in the tech landscape.

Weather App: Building a weather app familiarizes you with fetching and parsing data from external APIs,
and updating the UI with dynamic information based on user location.
Fitness Tracker Developing a fitness tracker app introduces handling sensor data and background
processing, teaches you how to create applications that interact with physical activity in real-time.
