    Dual Side Shaper Machine

    08/2022 - 02/2023

    • Dual Shaper machine helps industries achieve high production rates in minimal time and cost.
    • In this project, a dual-side shaper machine is designed and manufactured. It uses a scotch yoke mechanism for the
    reciprocating motion. It is developed for machining two workpieces at the same time. Theoretically, it is more efficient than
    the conventional shaper machine as it removes material in both forward and return strokes.

    Sheet Metal Levelling Machine

    Design & Development of Machine as an industrial project in Keshav Metal Pvt. Ltd. under MASSIA.
    • Problem- The main challenge was to achieve flatness for sheets up to 6 mm thickness and to reduce unnecessary
    interaction of the operator with the machine. The Bow in the job was also occurring because of the Skin pass effect in the
    Rolling process that generates undesired stresses in the sheet resulting in Bending.
    • Solution - The implementation of the design allowed the operator to use the machine with ease as we synchronized the
    vertical motion of rollers with a helical gear arrangement. Added a set of rollers to remove the bend and replaced the chain-
    driven system with gear driven system for uniform power transmission.
