Reflective Essay

Topic: Online Education (OE)

a) Self Awareness: Before I used to think that face to face learning is much better

than online education. During Covid I realized that I was mistaken since schools

were close and lessons need to continue at home.

b) Critical thinking: At the starting I was struggling because all my life I have been

doing face -to-face education the teacher will be present in the class and it was

hard to get motivated since it is my first time doing it. In order to overcome it I

realized I had to adapt to digital learning and become more self discipline.

c) Organization: I had to create my own timetable to balance and manage my time

effectively, and this really helped me and it make me to be productive since I

know how many hours to allocate for my daily routines.

d) Supporting evidence: When I see that my grades are improving then I know the

routine helped me in achieving those grades. It also makes me to balance between

my academics and responsibilities that is going to work.

e) Reflection: A throw back it was challenging at the beginning since I was not used

to it. It has taught me that online education is important because it creates a

comfortable learning environment, better time management and it increased

collaboration. I learnt that it is important to adapt to any situation.

I will be using all of the above in my academic journey and I believe it will have a

great impact in my academic journey.
