Early Life and Family Background
Life History of the Late Inviolata Nabwile Omusi

The late Inviolatah Nabwile Omusi was

born on December 2, 1975, in the
serene Wamunyiri Village, located in
the Kabula area of Bumula Sub County,
Bungoma County. She was the eighth
child of the late Mzee Edward Khalakayi
of the Balonja Clan and Dorothy Nafula
of the Omumutilu Clan.

Raised in a large, loving family, late

Inviolatah grew up surrounded by her
siblings: Electine, Edmond, Justice,
Kizito, Marciana, Kanoti, Titus, Kennedy,
Salima, Saumu, Ali, the late Moses,
Florence, and Mary. Together, they
formed a close-knit unit grounded in
family values, love, and mutual support.

Growing up in a Catholic family,

Inviolatah's life was steeped in faith
from an early age. Her parents instilled
in her the importance of spirituality and
community, qualities that would define
her as she grew older.

As the eighth child in a large family, she

learned the virtues of resilience and
responsibility early on. The late
Inviolatah cherished the memories of
her childhood in Wamunyiri, where she
and her siblings learned life lessons that
would shape them into the individuals
they became.
Educational Journey & Career Beginnings

The late Inviolatah began her formal education at Wamunyiri Primary School, where
she demonstrated an eagerness to learn and a natural curiosity about the world. After
completing her primary education, she moved on to Mungore Secondary School,
where she not only pursued her studies but also built lasting friendships. Her time in
school reflected her commitment to personal growth and her desire to make a
difference in the world.

In 1997, driven by her passion for healthcare and her desire to help others, the late
Inviolatah joined Ortum School of Nursing. This decision marked the beginning of a
career dedicated to serving the sick and the vulnerable. Her early years as a nurse were
spent at Ortum Mission Hospital, where she worked for two years. There, she honed her
skills and developed a gentle bedside manner that would become her hallmark. Her
colleagues admired her for her compassion, and her patients found comfort in her
care.

After gaining valuable experience at Ortum Mission Hospital, the late Inviolatah
entered government service, where she was first posted to Kamagut Dispensary in
Uasin Gishu.
For three years, she provided essential healthcare services to the community, earning
the respect of both her colleagues and the people she served. Her next assignment was
at Kitale District Hospital, where she would remain for the rest of her career. At Kitale,
the late Inviolatah continued her legacy of compassionate care, touching the lives of
countless patients and leaving a lasting impact on her community.
Faith and Spiritual Journey

The late Inviolatah’s faith journey was an

integral part of her life. Although raised
in a Catholic family, she embraced a new
spiritual path after her marriage. In
2016, she converted to the Kenya
Assemblies of God and was baptized, a
moment that signified her deepening
commitment to her faith.

This transformation reflected her

openness to new experiences and her
willingness to follow the path that
resonated most with her heart.

Her faith remained a source of strength

throughout her life, guiding her
through challenges and helping her
maintain her compassionate outlook.
As a member of the Kenya Assemblies
of God, the late Inviolatah found a
supportive community and a renewed
sense of purpose.

Her spiritual journey was marked by

devotion, and she was known for her
active involvement in church activities,
where she sought to inspire others
through her actions and her words.
Health Struggles
The Battle with a Brain Tumor

In 2022, the late Inviolata began

experiencing unexplained bouts of
dizziness, prompting her to seek
medical attention. She was
subsequently diagnosed with
hypertension and placed on medication
to manage her condition. Despite these
health challenges, she continued to
fulfill her duties at Kitale District
Hospital, a testament to her resilience
and dedication to her calling.

However, her health took a turn for the

worse when, six months ago, she began
suffering from persistent and
debilitating headaches. Concerned
about her worsening symptoms,
Inviolata underwent a series of tests,
including CT and MRI scans at St. Luke’s
Hospital in Eldoret. The tests revealed
the presence of a brain tumor, a
devastating diagnosis that came as a
shock to her and her loved ones.
Nonetheless, Late Inviolata faced this
challenge with courage, hoping to
overcome it as she had many other
obstacles in her life.

The late Inviolatah was admitted to

Cherangany Nursing Home, where she
was scheduled to undergo surgery on
October 8, 2024. Tragically, during the
procedure, she suffered a cardiac arrest,
a reaction to the general anesthesia.
The surgery was halted, and she was
immediately rushed to the ICU at
Cherangany Nursing Home. Later, she
was transferred to TopHill Hospital for
intensive care. Despite the efforts of the
medical staff, Inviolatah passed away
after five hours in the ICU, leaving
behind a legacy of love, resilience, and
service.
Marriage and Family

The late Inviolatah was married to Dr.

Samuel Omusi of Abamukunzi clan in
2004 and later solemnized the marriage
on 13.12.2013.They were blessed with
two sons Anthony Oluyali Omusi and
Dickens Bahati. She was a devoted
mother, not only to her biological

known as Mulamwah; who is married to
Ruth, and a proud father to their son,

As a mother, the late Inviolatah was

nurturing and compassionate, always
putting her children’s needs above her
own. She created a home filled with
love, warmth, and guidance, providing a
foundation that would support her
children throughout their lives.

Her love extended beyond her

immediate family, as she embraced
others with open arms, fostering
children who needed care and
guidance. Late Inviolatah’s home was a
haven for those who needed support,
and her generosity knew no bounds.
She instilled in her children and foster

integrity, and perseverance, traits that
will continue to live on through them.
