ABSTRACT
Now a day’s people used to go far away for servicing of their vehicle and it takes a lot of time. As in
today’s world time is a precious entity so as to save time, proposed new system Mobile Car Mechanics
(MCM) provides excellent car services in major cities of India. Services include all car servicing and
replacement of auto parts. MCM promotes excellence in automotive repair and service. This system
provides services at customers chosen location and provides appropriate interface between customer and
mechanics. So to overcome above issues, we are developing a collaborative system for mobile car
mechanics integrated with android application.

Chapter - 1: Introduction
• A collaborative system is one where multiple users or agents engage in a shared activity, usually from
remote locations. Mobile Car Mechanics who will come to your home or office to service your car. See
reviews, get cost estimates, and book appointments online.
• Now a day’s people used to go far away for servicing of their vehicle and it takes a lot of time and even it
can take a day. As in today’s world time is a precious entity so as to save time, proposed system Mobile
Car Mechanics (MCM) provides excellent car services in major cities of India. Services include all car
servicing and replacement of auto parts. MCM promotes excellence in automotive repair and service.
This system provides services at customers chosen location and provides appropriate interface between
customer and mechanics.
• So to overcome above issues, we are developing a collaborative system for mobile car mechanics
integrated with android application. There is an improvement in the quality of vehicle repair and services
by using MCM drastically. First, all the mechanics of particular city have to register with their area of
specialization, then the customer who wants to use particular services in this system register themselves
in our system.
• At the time of servicing customer can select particular mechanics based on their area of specialization,
location and mechanics rating. Customer can also choose mechanics as per their ratings and reviews and
they can also choose mechanic as per their budget. Mechanic also have right to reject or accept the
request as per his/her schedule. Now the question is how does system actually going to work? There are
two kinds off user who is going to use our system.
• One of them is mechanics and another one is customers who are going to use services provided my
mechanics. Basically mechanic who are eager to use our system have to registered to our system with
his/her area of specialization, what kind of services he/she is providing and how much money customer
have to pay for that particular services.
• In short all basic information should be provided by a particular mechanic with their catalogs. Then the
customer who wants to use particular services have to register themselves in our system with minimum
information like name, address, mobile number and vehicle number. Now after this at the time of
servicing customer can select particular mechanics based on their area of specialization, location and
mechanics rating which is provided by different users of our system.

Vehicle Diagnostic Tools: Mobile mechanics use various diagnostic tools and equipment to identify
vehicle issues. These can include OBD-II scanners, multimeters, and specialized software to read error
codes and pinpoint problems..
Mobile Workshop: Mobile mechanics have a fully equipped van or truck that serves as their mobile
workshop. This vehicle contains tools, equipment, spare parts, and other essentials for carrying out
repairs and maintenance at the customer's location.
Appointment Scheduling: Most mobile mechanics use scheduling software or apps to manage
appointments, track jobs, and communicate with customers. This allows them to efficiently allocate
their time and resources.
• Customer can compare different mechanics based on their ratings and reviews given by other
customers.
1.4 ADVANTAGES
• Our software is free to use and anyone can suggest the new ideas that they may present
• We provide the information in easy and understandable language so one could easily get to know.
• We will make sure that the booking runs properly and no problems occur during the implementation

Online Management System for Automobile Services
• The objective of this study is to find out the different factors responsible for effecting servicing and
maintenance process of a car and to look for opportunities to reduce time required for it.
• Here we provide a web application for Online Management System for Automobile Services. This application
is a web site which can run on any browser in mobile, tablet or computer.
• This app will enable any vehicle user to search and communicate with any mechanic in the vicinity.
• This web app also enables user to find nearby hospitals. The system uses Firebase for storage and hosting
purposes, which is a technology provided by Google with a nominal cost.
• Firebase uses No SQL for storing the database of the website which includes users details, admin account and
Mechanics details, etc.
• Front end of the system is designed in Angular2 which uses HTML5, CSS and Typescript for better designing
of the website.
• Whenever the user accesses the website, users location is derived from their 9 device and then the user is
provided with the locations of the nearby mechanics and their service rating. The user is then free to select a
mechanic by his/her choice.
• After a mechanic is selected by the user, users information like location is sent to the chosen mechanic
provided that mechanic is not busy and they can accepts the users request to provide the service and payment
will be done online
• “Trinco Automobile” is one of the major vehicle service stations in Sri Lanka. They have their branches in
Trincomalee and Jaffna. Currently they provide booking facility to people through Online based.
• Nowadays many peoples do not spend more time to purchase services and goods for their daily life. Therefore
the buyers would like to purchase services and goods through online based.
• To full fill that kind of consumers need and to make improvements on companys business activities, the Trico
Automobile Company decided to improve the business trend through online.
• Because the company is keeping their company records in printed papers and they have found some
inconveniences on the traditional paper system to maintain their business
