Task 1:
The graph below shows the different modes of transport used to travel to and from work
in one European city in 1960, 1980 and 2000.

You should write at least 150 words.

Modes of transport used to travel to and from work in a European city

[Figure: Transportation used in Percentages.]

The following bar chart shows the percentage of travelers who commuted to work in a
European city in three separate years from 1960 to 2000.
Overall, it is clear that the proportion of commuters who used cars increased steadily over the
period shown, whereas the figures for people who traveled by bike and on foot fell
dramatically.
In 1960, almost 35% of travelers walked to work. The proportion of those who used bikes and
buses was 25% and 18%, respectively, while in contrast, only 6% of people commute by car.
However, in 1980 the percentage of commuters who went to work by bus reached over 25%,
making it the most popular means of transport in that year. Although the proportion of people
who used cars saw a significant rise to approximately 23%, the percentage of travelers who
used bikes fell noticeably to exactly 20%, and the figure for those who went on foot was
slightly lower at roughly 17%.
At the end of the period, over 35% of travelers used cars to go to work in this city, overtaking
the figure for bus users (16%). The proportion of those who commuted on foot and by bike
dropped to under 10% and just over 5%, respectively.
Task 2:
Some people believe that our happiness depends on how much money we have. Others say
that “money cannot buy happiness”.
Do you think that having money is the key to happiness, or are there more important factors?
It is argued that the term happiness is different for individuals. One of the most important
factors of happiness is money. Everything is motivated by money that is a really simple key
but an essential factor. I completely agree with that, we are undeniable If we don’t have
enough money, we can not buy the fundamental items. In this essay I will focus on the
discussion about money is the most important condition to get easily cheerfulness.
Firstly, money can buy other fundamental factors including foods, accommodations,
clothes, and medications. There affected by human quality of life? There are the most
principal factors that are desired by humans. However, when people get completely about
fundamental factors they will get happiness soon. It is a natural life of humans. Therefore, a
poor person that can not reach some essential factors may be less happy than a rich person.
Moreover, basic satisfactions depend on people can reach the fundamental factors. Secondly,
financial stability is equally stable in their life. Successful of their occupation and business is
a second step to getting easily happiness. More money can respond to their needs or luxury
goods that include vehicles, luxury foods, and brand-name goods. Consequently, financial
stability is important to get easier stability in life and sustainable happiness. Thirdly, money is
not only made happier with you but only makes happiness with others around with you. Most
people spend money with others to take a little opportunity with someone. For instance,
donate for orphans or animals. In addition, happiness is occurred by indirectly ways from
others.
In conclusion, happiness is around with as well as money is only one of a part that can
get easier happiness. Money can help us have a higher quality of life, get a more convenient
life, and receives indirectly happiness from others
