SYMPOSIUM OVERVIEW

In our digital world, cyber security threats are on the rise, a ecting individuals, businesses, and nations.
Zimbabwe faces these risks due to its expanding internet and mobile networks. This symposium will
gather cyber security experts, industry leaders, policymakers, and citizens to address Zimbabwe's
unique challenges.

The symposium will focus on addressing Zimbabwe’s evolving cyber threats including malware, phishing,
data breaches, and critical infrastructure attacks. It aims to understand the role of threat intelligence,
develop robust incident report plans, build organizational resilience, and review the regulatory
environment and national cyber security strategies. It will also address the need for e ective policy
frameworks and their implementation in critical structures.
