Assignment-II
Max. Marks: 10

Note. 1. Each Batch represents 5 students, in the sequence of roll No. after 30 students
questions will repeat, Ex. For Batch-VII, the question are 1-5 and so on.

2. Each Question 2 Mark.

Batch-I

8. A doctor knows that the disease meningitis causes the patient to have a stiff neck, say,
70% of the time. The doctor also knows some unconditional facts: the prior probability
that a patient has meningitis is 1/50,000, and the prior probability that any patient has
a stiff neck is 1%, Find the probability of meningitis given the stiff neck.
9. For the training data given below to predict Sugar of Diabetic Patient given BMI and
Age, Apply the KNN model to classify following query, Test Example BMI=43.6,
Age=40, Sugar=?, Assume K=3.
