Subject: 2024 SEARCH FOR OUTSTANDING TEACHING, TEACHING RELATED, AND NON
TEACHING PERSONNEL IN THE DISTRICT OF GASAN
1. In consonance with Division Memorandum no. 76, s. 2024 entitled 2024 Search for
Outstanding Teaching, Teaching Related, and Non-Teaching Personnel I the School Division
that is anchored on DepEd Order No. 78, s. 2007 titled “Strengthening the Program on
Awards and Incentives for Excellence (PRAISE) in the Department of Education” and in
compliance with the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human
Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) of the Civil Service Commission, the District of Gasan
announces the 2024 Search for Outstanding Teaching, Teaching-Related, and Non-
Teaching Personnel in the District.
2. This activity aims to recognize and appreciate exemplary performance and accomplishment
of teaching, teaching-related and non-teaching personnel as well in the district.
3. Each school, through the School PRAISE Committee, shall nominate one entry per category
duly nominated by the school head for the school level, by the PSDS for the School head
nominee and immediate supervisor for the teaching-related and non-teaching personnel.
4. The hard copies of the nomination’s requirements shall be submitted to the District
PRAISE Secretariat through the Administrative Officers on or before October 21, 2024
8:00 AM. Subsequently, clear scanned copies of the nomination requirements, together
with a clear copy of a recently taken portrait photo wearing a Filipiniana/Barong attire
and a 3-minute video, with voice-over and on landscape orientation, highlighting the
accomplishments of the nominee shall be submitted too to the District Aos. The
scanned copies of the nomination requirements and videos shall use the naming
conventions: 2024Gawad [Category][School][Last Name Of Nominee].
6. Each award has eligibility and selection criteria to ensure that all school personnel have
opportunity to be considered in this search to ensure equal opportunity principle is exercised
to underscore the Office’s policy of no discrimination against any employee for rewards and
recognition regardless of age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression,
marital status, pregnancy, physical features, impairment or disability, work-related injury,
religious belief or activity, ethnicity, political belief, or affiliation.
7. The District timeline shall be observed to ensure the successful implementation of this year’s
search.

attached enclosures.
11. Announcement of winners is on November 11, 2024 and will be awarded during the 2024
DISTRICT GAWAD PARANGAL.
