V. RATIONALE:
Generally, Family Day typically refers to a public holiday in various
countries, dedicated to celebrating the importance of families and family
life. It encourages spending time together and participating in community
events. The date and significance can vary, but the overarching goal is to
promote family bonding and well-being
Family Week in the Philippines takes place in the last week of
September and this year, it’s held from September 23-29. The week-long
occasion is recognized by the government and churches of the country
and involves making a concerted effort to spend time with your family and
build on your bonds. The previous years’ celebrations encouraged families
to spend time together as a family as well as acknowledge that family in
the Philippines is deeply rooted in the Christian church that has settled in
the country
This year Family Week Theme is “Pamilyang Tutugon sa Pagbabago
ng Panahon”, aligns with the 2024 International Family theme.
In connection with it Hanjin Integrated School will celebrate National
Family Day on November 9, 2024, with the following activity:
