Dear Sir / Madam

We would like to extend you an invitation to the Kinnaird Business Festival


2024 being held by Kinnaird College for Women Lahore, on October 23rd, 24th
and 25th. KBF'24 is a three day event that aims to provides students with a
holistic experience of real world business scenarios; complemented by vibrant
socials, speaker sessions and fun competitions. This is a unique opportunity for
the students of your institution to display their talents, hone their
entrepreneurial skills and network with like-minded individuals from varying
fields.

Our Aim
This event will include competitive challenges aimed at evaluating students'
expertise across various fields. These contests would provide participants the
chance to demonstrate their abilities while learning from peers with different
viewpoints, broadening their understanding of diverse business practices.
Taking part in KBF'24 will be a transformative experience, bolstering students'
skills and equipping them with insights that will appeal to future employers or
support their pursuit of higher education.

Our Objective
Our objective for KBF’24 is to fostering exceptional students and develop
business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit. This event will bridge the gap
between academia and industry. Competitive challenges will test students’
skills and knowledge, providing opportunities to showcase their talents, learn
from peers, and grasp global business practices. Participation in KBF’24 will
undoubtedly enhance your students’ resumes, preparing them for future
employers or advanced graduate. We extend a special invitation to your
students to join us for three days of learning, growth, and networking. We
believe KBF’24 will broaden their perspectives on business and
entrepreneurship and enhance their problem-solving, critical thinking, and
communication skills. We eagerly look forward to welcoming your students to
KBF’24 and exploring the exciting possibilities that this event has to offer.

Competition Overview
Competition 1: Brand Battle Royale
In Brand Battle Royale, teams of two will face off in a fast-paced debate
defending competing brands. After receiving their brands on the spot, teams
will have a short time to prepare their arguments. Each round will feature two
teams debating against each other, defending their assigned brands. The
competition will consist of two rounds, with the intensity increasing as
participants move forward. This event pushes teams to think on their feet,
build strong arguments, and showcase their skills in brand advocacy. Will your
team’s brand reign supreme in this battle of wits?

Competition 2 : Reel-it-Up
Get ready to roll with Reel-It-Up, a high-energy video creation competition!
Participants have a limited timeframe to craft captivating, original reels on
designated themes. Success hinges on creativity, storytelling flair, and the
ability to captivate audiences. Judges will gauge winners based on viewer
engagement and impact. This dynamic contest empowers filmmakers to push
boundaries, experimenting with innovative storytelling techniques and
multimedia formats to weave compelling visual narratives that leave a lasting
impression.

Competition 3: Scavenger Hunt


Embark on an action-packed adventure with our Scavenger Hunt
competition! Participants will receive a cryptic checklist of challenges that
demand quick thinking, sharp problem-solving skills, and lightning-fast
reflexes. With time ticking away, contestants must rapidly locate hidden
items, complete tasks, and crack clues to stay ahead of the pack. The first pair
to collect all the clues will be the winner. Accuracy and speed will be the
ultimate deciders, as the fastest finishers will claim the top spots and emerge
victorious.
Competition Overview
Competition 4: Ad-Mad
Ad-Mad is a fast-paced creative showdown where teams of will race against time
to craft an epic ad! In just 2 hours in which 30 minutes will be given to shoot the
content and 30 minutes will be given to edit the raw videos, participants will
brainstorm, shoot, and edit a 30-second to 1-minute ad promoting a randomly
assigned product. Teams will use their smartphones or cameras, utilizing the
campus as their set. With limited time for brainstorming, shooting, and editing,
this challenge tests your ability to think on your feet, bring ideas to life, and
create a compelling ad that grabs attention.

Competition 5: The Business Game


Step into the world of entrepreneurship with The Business Game, where teams
will build a startup from scratch. Participants will receive an investment
opportunity through a game of chance and, from there, develop a full business
plan, complete with branding, marketing strategies, and customer engagement
tactics. This competition challenges your business knowledge, creativity, and
strategic thinking. It’s an exciting opportunity to collaborate with peers,
showcase innovative ideas, and test your startup skills in a fast-paced,
competitive environment.

Competition 6: Inspire Through Words


Get ready to articulate your vision in Inspire Through Words, a thought-provoking
essay competition! Within a tight 30-minute timeframe, participants will craft
compelling 300-500 word essays addressing pressing universal or contemporary
issues – from environmental sustainability and AI’s societal impact to global social
challenges and other pivotal topics. This challenge demands critical thinking,
nuanced perspectives, and effective communication, as writers must present
balanced, well-reasoned arguments that inspire, educate, and spark meaningful
dialogue. Can you distill complex ideas into powerful words and make a lasting
impact within a short, intense writing sprint?
Competition Overview
Competition 7: INTER-DEPARTMENTAL COMPETITION
The Inter-Departmental Innovation Challenge brings together students from
various departments to tackle important societal, economic, and
environmental issues. A week before the event, participants will receive broad
topics like education, healthcare, and sustainability. On the day of the event,
specific challenges will be assigned, and teams will need to think creatively
and adapt their ideas to develop innovative solutions. This competition offers
an opportunity to collaborate with peers, showcase problem-solving skills, and
propose impactful ideas for real-world challenges. All the teams will make a
presentation in the favour of their solution, the best possible solution will get
the first prize

Insighful session: DIGITAL MARKETING ESSENTIALS


The training session on digital marketing essentials with Yasser Anwar will
provide a comprehensive introduction to key digital marketing concepts.
Participants will gain insights into SEO, social media marketing, content
strategy, and analytics. Yasser's expertise and engaging teaching style are
expected to offer practical knowledge and tools, enabling attendees to
effectively apply digital marketing techniques in their businesses or careers.
The session will emphasize real-world applications, making it highly relevant
and beneficial for both beginners and professionals looking to enhance their
digital marketing skills.

closing: AWARD CEREMONY


Cash prizes of over 40 thousand, shields, and certificates will be presented
to the winners and runners-up in recognition of their outstanding
performance.
Additionally, certificates of participation will be awarded to all other
participants to acknowledge their contribution and efforts
throughout the event.

Code of Conduct

All participants, delegates, and attendees of the Kinnaird Business Festival


are expected to adhere to the following code of conduct to ensure a
productive, respectful, and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

Participants must refrain from prohibited activities, including using


unfair or illicit means to gain an advantage, making inappropriate
remarks, gestures, or displaying unacceptable behavior, using foul
language or engaging in disorderly conduct, possessing or consuming
harmful substances (including e-cigarettes and drugs), damaging or
vandalizing school property, and copying or falsifying documents or
forms.
Delegates must inform the festival administration before leaving the
college premises during event timings.
Judgments made by judges and/or sub-event heads are final and
binding; disputes will not be entertained.
Delegates must follow event organizers’ instructions, guidelines, and
schedules. Electronic devices should be used responsibly, without
disrupting proceedings or disturbing others.
Violations of this code may result in disqualification from the festival.
Repeated or severe offenses may lead to further action, as deemed
necessary by the festival administration.

By participating in the Kinnaird Business Fest'24, you acknowledge that
